These training undies are so cute! They are very durable. We got them not to use as training undies though. We got them to help clear up really bad diaper rash by soaking them in a medicated solution. They did what we needed them to.

Gerber products always seem to fit small compared to other companies of the same size, but it works well for me as I have a small little girl. She is 19 lbs at 14 months. We are starting to potty train a little early (because shes ready) and was having difficulty finding some undies that would fit. The 18 mo size says 24-28lbs and, like I said, my daughter is 19lbs and they fit almost perfect. They will probably fit fine for several more pounds, but I doubt a 28lber would be comfortable in them. As far as how they work. I was holding my daughter on my hip...she only had the training pants on. I felt my hip get a little warm, I quick lifted her up and her undies were wet, but my shirt was completely dry! So they did the trick! She realized she was going and my clothes stayed dry!

These are cute in person and fit well. The fabric feels comfortable. My only quibble is that there are tags in them, although they dont seem to bother my little one.

Not just for potty training, my favorite panties in general! These panties are not flimsy. They are thick and well made. My 2 year old can put this on by herself! Sizing: I started potty training at 18 months and my child weighed about 21 lbs. I’m so glad Gerber makes the 18 month size because these were one of the few that fit her! Even at 25 lbs. I prefer these over the 2t sizing because it is more snug. The 2t-3t is still slightly big. Accidents: the absorbent, thick layers makes accidents so much easier to clean up. The first thing I think when she has an accident is-was she wearing Gerber training panties or regular underwater. With Gerber, she may have some tinkle going down her legs, but I’m not going to be see a large puddle on the floor. If anything, there will be a small puddle, less than the size of the palm of my hand, on the floor. This is so much better than regular underwear with zero absorbency. Regular underwear will leave her with completely soaked pants, puddle on the floor, and a footprint trail of pee. SAVE yourself the headache. Buy these and buy a few more. We don’t even use regular underwear. The cut: I love how this truly covers your child’s bottoms. I can’t stand how Walmart underwear is cut so thin in the private area. Little kids are always lifting up their dresses and jumping around. I want my child wearing panties that provide good coverage! These hug well on her thighs and are wide on the bottoms! Diapers/Training Pull ups- We have been very successful with potty training and I owe it to these training panties. My toddler did not seem to mind if her pull up was wet. She would carry on and not even notice at times. It did not work well for us. These panties make it VERY obvious if she wet her underwear. You will need to change it. There’s not walking around and continuing to play with these on. I find that it gives you the perfect balance between wetness but with minimal cleaning. She will even wear this at night and it quickly (within one night) she learned how to not pee on her bed! Thank you Gerber for making potty training a lot easier with this. The one thing I wish was available is a 12-18 months size as well!

Little girls like these. The colors are fun and appealing. They fit just as they are supposed to. These are also good quality, not like some others that tear in a month. They’re made of a nice, thick material. Have had these for two years, and they’re still good. They are also soft and comfortable, so little girls won’t complain. She loves these and enjoys wearing them. I recommend!

Easy up and down for potty training. Doesn’t catch accidents but does better than nothing at all!

Im giving this product 4 stars, because I feel like they would probably work for other peoples kids, just not mine. My 3 year old and I have been working on potty training for about a year now, and shes doing very well, but these training pants set her back a bit. I think the reason why is that these are much thicker than normal panties, which is very helpful when you have a child who has accidents frequently and want to avoid a huge mess, but they ended up being a problem for my child. The thickness of the panties gave her a feeling like she was wearing a diaper, and she would proceed to go in the training pants without realizing that they werent diapers. The thinner, regular panties are whats best for us, because she feels the difference and immediately knows that she is not in a diaper and needs to go on the potty. To each their own, though!

these are great. I am using these for potty training with my almost 2 year old. I put plastic covers over these and it is helping immensely. Before with just pull ups she didnt even tell me when she had to potty and we were wasting our time. Since using these within one day, she is telling me when she has to go (we dont make it yet to the potty) but at least she is telling me. I love how they arent to thick like a diaper or pull up but how they are thick enough to absorb most of the liquid that comes out. I have rinsed and washed these a few times since getting them and they still look brand new. These are amazing and I highly recommend for potty training. They are a material similar to a burp cloth.

I started potty training my daughter at about 8 months old. Nothing too crazy, just a toilet trip here and here to get her used to the idea. I started the real routine recently (shes now nearly 24 months), and I tried to use these training pants as an incentive for her..we call them her big girl panties, a step up from pull ups. Theyre cute, decently absorbent (of course they cant let it all out or youll have an issue). My only complaint is that my daughter is on the chubbier side (close to 30lbs, with a lot of her chubs contained to her thighs). The openings are a bit snug, but I suppose thats better than them being too loose. I ordered a 2T and they seem to do the trick...and their cute!

Really really like these training pants. They are so soft. My daughter loves wearing them. I really didnt want anything that had plastic lining in them. As other reviews stated, it wont prevent a leak but it will help prevent a huge mess. I got the 18 month size. My daughter is 23 lbs and is 20 months old. She tends to run on the petite side but usually fits 18mo size clothes. So I feel like they run a little big. Im glad they run large instead of small though. At least she has some growing room. I would buy them again.
