> 24 hourI initally bought these for the Christmas time for my tree and other decorations to have everything on a timer, but now Im addicted and have them almost in each wall. They are a MUST have in bathroom for curling iron or hair tools. No more wondering did I turn off my curling iron! They are great for the holidays and decor and they work nicely with my Alexa and my Google and my cell phone. I even have my nightlight set up to it and just walk in my room and say Alexa turn on my lights and it works! These are great for the price!

> 24 hourI have quite a few lights on timers (aquariums, etc.) and I really dislike the classic mechanical timer with the pins. These have made it really easy to schedule on/off times without the bulk and hassle of the old style timers. Plus, I can turn on my bedroom fan from bed with my phone!

> 24 hourI bought a 2 pack to try on a couple of lamps when it starts to get dark before Im off work. Easy set up. straight forward app. Had them connected, schedule programmed and custom named in minutes. So handy I bought 2 more and plan to get a heavier duty one for the AC! Will be able to add all to the 1 app. Was able to share with my son so he could control lights when Im out of town. The mini size doesnt obstruct the other socket. Really happy with these. Update: Ive had these a little over a month. Works great still. Today the ads on the app started up in full swing. Wouldnt be an issue except they are formatted to look the same as the tiles as my programmed devices. So instead of my normal 3 theres now 6 tiles plus a banner add across the top. Visually its overstimulating. My tiles function fine. But could easily click an ad inadvertently. By design Im sure. Dont have to love it though. Bumping down a star. Still would recommend.

> 24 hourI am a computer consultant and know my way around technology. 3 of the 4 were easy to set up. The 4th one is dead, it will not connect. Disappointed as I needed all 4 for Christmas scenes

> 24 hourIf you have smart devices in your home, then youve probably got a bunch of apps on your phone because each brand has to be setup on its proprietary app. This product is no exception, but what is exceptional is that I have been able to use the app for these plugs to setup other smart light bulbs and smart plugs that either wouldnt setup in their own proprietary app, or I dont know what app it requires anymore. None of the other apps have ever worked with other products. Modern wi-fi broadcasts both 2.5 Ghz and 5 Ghz. These devices all need the 2.5 Ghz. AT&T fiber internet service wont allow me to alter the SSID of the 2.5 Ghz so the smart devices can see it and use it. I thought I wasnt going to be able to use some of the light bulbs and plugs I already had. I downloaded the app for these plugs (Gosund) and was surprised that the app could find the 2.5 GHZ wi-fi that broadcasts on the same SSID as the 5 GHZ. If this is your home network setup too, then it likely will not find the plug on the first 2 minute device search, wait for it to time out. There is an additional setup process that it offers you once it fails to find the plug. Follow the simple steps and each plug is connected and working in under 5 minutes per plug. If you have smart light bulbs that arent connecting, try using this app. I have some that are about 5 years old and their proprietary app on my phone wasnt able to get them connected to my network, but this app did and those bulbs are now back in service. We have bulbs we bought at wally world for our driveway coach lights. They setup through their proprietary app, but they kept falling off the network. I deleted them and then set them up again through the app for these plugs and now they work great. The app also finds Bluetooth-enabled smart devices. Unlike other apps, this one lets you turn off the adverting in the app. We use these with Alexa and they work seamlessly. Open the Alexa app on your phone after theyre setup successfully in the Gosund app. With Alexa you can easily give them names, rename them, create groups of plugs or groups with other devices in certain rooms, and use Alexa skills. There is a power button on the side of each plugs so you can manually turn the plug on or off, but Alexa can still turn it back on or off after youve done that. They are 3 prong and UL listed. The only small negative is their round shape can prevent something with a large plug from fitting into the other hole in your electrical outlet and I dont think you could plug two of these into the same outlet. As you can see in the picture, I have a power strip plugged into the other hole and it fits fine, but other plugs dont so think about where youll put them and what else you have to plug in there. For me it hasnt been an issue. I recommend these and will buy more of them as needed.

> 24 hourI bought this for a lamp in my living room. It takes up more room in the outlet then I thought. You cant plug an ac adapter into the unused outlet, only a regular plug. The app was easy enough to install. Not much in the way of directions but I figured it out. The app has a ton of ads for their other products and I now get a bunch of unwanted spam from them as well. Not thrilled about that. The ug works as it should though and can be controlled with the app. It also has a timer option in the app which is handy, you can set individual days for it to turn on/off.

> 24 hourinstalled this wifi plug and plugged the toddlers tv into it. covered with a large hollow child proof plastic box outlet cover for safety and to prevent access to the plug. Now the TV wont turn on when grownup turns the outlet off via phone app. Toddler no longer can turn on the TV in the middle of the night and get riled up and into a bad habit. TV is controlled by parents again. When playing lullabies on toddlers room tv its nice to remotely turn it off when she falls asleep (can see on baby monitor camera). less likely to wake her when we dont have to enter the room. This could possibly work for controlling tv or game time for slightly older kids too. parents power off the outlet and therefore device via phone app. could also be used for remotely turning on / off lights, Xmas lights, ensuring appliances like heaters turn off, etc.

> 24 hourNice cheap units, tied to Google home. They are used daily with routines and commands. One night I was in the room and noticed my lamp went out. Thought something was wrong with the lamp to discover the power output had failed. The light was on indicating it was still giving power but nothing from the outlet. I only needed 3 so thankfully I had the last as a spare and its been fine since.

> 24 hourThe instructions that come with it guide you through setting this up with the Gosund app, but the device can be added using the Smart Life and possibly Tuya apps instead, which are less buggy and easier to connect to Alexa. Discovered this by accident but it would have saved me a few minutes of headaches. The Gosund app will stay resident on your phone (i.e., will show an icon telling you its running all the time which you cant hide), is difficult to link with wi-fi, and Alexa. The switch itself is nice and gives a satisfying click when you turn it on and off manually. It is probably just a little too big, though, and will block your unused outlet. A rectangular design might avoid that problem.

> 24 hourYou have to download their app to get proper use
