> 3 dayThe initial programming of the first remote involves opening up the receiver unit with a screwdriver. It should not be necessary to program the remote by physically unscrewing the cover from the receiver. Once the first remote is programmed, that programming can be transferred wirelessly to any subsequent remotes that need to open the gate. There was a power problem with our gate witht the receiver power which made it necessary to we program all the remotes. The manufacturer could use Bluetooth to communicate with a smart phone app in addition to the more complicated step of unscrewing the cover on the receiver.

> 3 dayJust finished installing a Ghost Control gate opener. While the install went well and the gate opener is doing what its supposed to be doing, the remote is UTTERLY incapable of programming any HomeLink clicker. I have three cars with HomeLink, and none of them took the Ghost Control signal. Nor would the Ghost Control transmitter accept another signal (on the 2nd button) from our existing HomeLinks. This is frustrating and difficult to understand. My Dad has a Mighty Mule gate opener, and we were able to transfer that signal to the HomeLinks in all three of our cars. This is a basic functionality for most people. I do want to note that the Ghost Control gate opener seems a little better than the Mighty Mule. I prefer the fact that its control unit is within a separate housing... so its separate from the attenuator. The Mighty Mule combines both the attenuator and its control unit within the attenuator housing.

> 3 dayI need a few extra remotes so I had one in each vehicle. These arrived promptly and in perfect condition. Very easy to program. You simply hold it next to an existing transmitter and press a few buttons.
