I finally broke down and bought Slimer on a 40% off sale to get a few gold bricks that he is necessary to get (in situations where hire a hero does not work well). And I found him to be a worthwhile purchase (especially for $7.20). First of all, the build is lame... one piece, sitting on a see through brick with a hot dog prop... but really what more could they have done? The first thing I discovered about Slimer that really made me excited to have him is that when he rides vehicles, he actually posseses them!!! I exclaimed, That is awesome and worth the $7 bucks right there! (maybe a slight exaggeration). He also has some unique abilities... getting past ghosts, underwater boomerangs, hazard clean-up (which only a few characters can do)... and of course flying always comes in handy. As cool as his gun build looks, it really doesnt add much and so I have not really even used it in the game.
