A razor that vibrates isnt something anybody actually needs. However, the gentle little buzz is surprisingly pleasant and the battery gives the Gillette Fusion5 Power just the right amount of weight. So, while I dont need this razor, now that Ive used it -- I never want to shave without it.

As someone who shaves both face & head and often changes facial hair style, i.e sideburns, goatee, chinstrap, etc., razors are extremely important. I have tried a multitude of brands, types and gimmicks. Does anyone remember the Infinity razor? Anyway, I have yet to find a razor that would exceed or at least meet the performance of Gillette Fusion. When I first purchased the Fusion5 Power (the one that vibrates) many years ago I thought, what a lame gimmick, but it was on sale and came with 4 cartridges. I was pleasantly surprised when the vibration feature actually made a difference. No placebo effect, it actually made the best razor around even better. Now as far as cost, many people dont realize that these arent one-time-use disposable cartridges, they are good for several shaves, even longer if you only shave your face...or legs. Yes ladies you can use these too, my wife does and regularly comments (1/2 joking) how unfair it is that men have better razors than women. One very important factor is the spacing of the blades which determines how easily you can rinse the hair off. A major fault in many competitors. You shouldnt need to bang the razor against the sink to knock the hair out. PRO TIP: use thin/watered down soap as a lubricant. 9 out of 10 shaves I use no lubricant or even water. I shave dry and this is the only razor I have ever been able to do this with. The soapy water lets the hair come right out of the blades. I have so much more to say about razors but... Im pretty sure this is the longest review I have ever written. BOTTOM LINE: Best shave I have ever experienced and worth every cent.

The blades seem to last longer.

The added 5 blades from the 3 blades do have a significant difference. I saw an immediate difference in my shave when using this blade. The shave does feel closer to the skin leaving a near perfectly smooth skin after going against and with the grain. I use near-perfect because with any disposable razor company I dont believe it can get extremely perfect of grain to skin ratio. The upgrade from the 3 blades to these 5 is worth it. An added bonus is the power handle that makes the shave time done in a quarter of the time.

These razors are amazing. You get a nice clean shave, they glide effortlessly without tugging. In my opinion I would choose these over womens razors any day! And it says for Men but they do wonders for is women that use them!!

One cartridge usually lasts around three months.
