Good value.

It is difficult to strop the blade on leather or jeans due to the rubber and gel inserts. Dont get me wrong the blades work great, but they are difficult to maintain with stropping due to all the jean and leather fuzz sticking to the latter mentioned portions.

Great razors

I had been using the Gillette Fusion ProGlide 5-blade cartridges, and while I think they give a fine shave, theyre also priced pretty steep at around three dollars each. When I ran low recently I remembered using the Mach3 years ago, and decided to give it a shot. Ive been very pleased, as they give a shave just about as good as the Fusion, and cost around half the price. I can generally get about five or six multi-pass shaves from a cartridge, which puts the per-shave cost when I catch these on sale down to around a quarter a shave, which I can live with. More expensive than my Shark safety razor blades (which are only a little over a nickel a blade), but a noticeable better shave, too. I certainly recommend the Mach3 as a pretty good shave at a fair price.
