Ive used Venus blades for years, and these are just YUCK. The smooth glide is indeed a smooth glide, but to the point of leaving a trail of slime on my leg thats difficult to wash off. Other blades have that for a week or so, but it never went away on these. I had to take a shower -after- my shower. They dont shave well either - not as smooth as other Venus blades. I dont know if thats because its three blades, or because the smooth glide stuff pokes out so far, but they didnt even perform the basic function of a smooth shave. All it did was make me feel like snails crawled all over my legs and left stubble behind. Ew, ew, ew! Cant wait to give these away.

Dont last long, but I love that I dont have to use shaving cream.

If youre looking to shave with a razor that covers your legs in a thick gel with the consistency of raw egg whites, then youve certainly found your product. Of course, youre certainly not going to get a close shave with your legs coated in this slime, but you will avoid any risk of cuts. Luckily, it wont take too long for the gel to be worn off your razor, leaving you able to get a normal shave once again.

Im always look for ways to speed tedious tasks up, and shaving can be annoying but it must be done. These razors make it easy, provide a close smooth shave, and I have never cut myself up with these. Ive been using them for years and they last for about two weeks with regular shaving. The razors are still sharp after the shave gel is gone, so you can just add your own shave gel and use it like a normal razor to get some more life out of it. I always spend the extra money on these! Highly recommended!

I got the deal of the handle and 8 cartridges. With the 6 dollar off coupon this was cheaper than a 4 pack of refills often cost. I use these for convenience. I hate having to mess with shaving cream, but I cant use a razor without or my sensitive skin burns. These have the right amount of lather without being bulky. They travel easily too. One typically lasts me a month in the winter and two weeks in the summer. I never have issues with ingrown hairs, razor burn, or cuts from these.
