Gillette Venus Extra Smooth Womens Razor Blade Refills, 6 Count, Designed for a Close, Smooth Shave, light blue

I have used Venus razor blades for quite a while now and I have found the 5 bladed razors work best for me. I am a fan of the Venus razors in general and I like the Embrace almost as well as others. The only issue I have is the moisture strip at the bottom of the razor tends to separate from the plastic as it dries out some and it prevents me from getting as smooth of a shave as I would like. I have noticed this now with several of the packages of the Embrace razors and it is disappointing to only be able to use a razor once or twice because this happens and a close shave is no longer possible. I will still use Venus razor blades, but I will probably look for a different type that dont have this feature. The moisturizing feature isnt enough of a plus to counteract the negative of what occurs.

Ive been around for awhile, since back when we were barbarians who shaved with only ONE measly blade in our razors, and women generally had to use mens razors, or choose to shave with something that looked like a birth control dispenser (Im looking at you, Flicker). I cant even think about the Epilady tragedy without nightmares. Moisture strips?!? Then we would have call that the rantings of a schizophrenic. I watched as razor manufacturers hubris grew; I truly thought it knew no bounds, and was as pointless an escalation as our arms race with the USSR. Two razors; aloe strips; moisture strips; rubber grips on the handle; FREE suction cup holder for the shower! First two blades, then THREE!!! Would the insanity never end? Then, I mistakenly ordered these refills for my spare Venus razor. I am not ashamed to tell you all that I wept the first time I used them. Finally, we have a razor with not 4 but FIVE blades, AND a ground breaking moisture ribbon. Finally, ladies, we have freedom! Finally, we escape the tyranny of men discovering grown women have body hair!! Thank you, Gillette, thank you.

I received this razor complimentary from Influenster and I give it two thumbs up for sure...if you are looking for a razor that is easy to use and leaves your legs feeling silky smooth than the Venus Embrace is for you...I highly recommend this product and will purchase it again, great value for a high quality product!!!

I dont get it...these used to be terrific razors. Ive ordered these 5-blade at least twice and even tried the 3-blades thinking Id have better luck, but they just are not as sharp as they used to be. I cant get a close shave anymore and its driving me crazy...

Ive always purchased Gillette but, after the commercials of a woman shaving her crotch and pubic hair, Im taking my business elsewhere. Theyve gone too far. Are they stating women are so stupid they need Gillette telling them how to groom themselves? Whats next, showing the crotch of a 12 year old shaving her public hair? Disgusting.
