> 3 dayTypically I like Gillette products and bought their green regular blades for women. Im not sure if its because of the moisture strip for sensitive skin or what, but I ended up with a serious rash breakout, itchy, all over where I used the razor. This happened all three times I shaved during the past few weeks, the last episode being the worse. Initially I couldnt tell what was the cause for the breakout. After going to the doctor, I was instructed to stop using the razor and prescribed anti biotics. Im disappointed because as much as I like Gillette products, now Im weary.

> 3 dayI recieved a pack of three of these razors free from Gilette in return for an honest review. First off, Im already pretty spoiled in the razor department because Ive been a member of Dollar Shave Club for a few months now. Their razors are awesome. In comparison, the Gillette razor seemed flimsy, which is to be expected in a disposable razor handle vs. a reusable one, but still threw me off a bit. I tried the Gilette razor on my underarms first, and then my legs. I found the size of the razor cartridge was awkwardly big for shaving my underarms, and I had to maneuver it all around to get all the hairs, which isnt true about the smaller DSC razors. However, it was much better on my legs, and glided really smoothly without missing anything. I didnt get any cuts, even on my knees (which often get knicked), which I think was in part because of the moisture strip, which really helped lubricate my skin for a smooth glide. The DSC razors dont have a strip like this, so that was nice. Although, the actual blades themselves did seem a bit lower quality and less sharp than the ones that come on the DSC razors. All in all, Id say that the Gilette razor is designed very well for shaving womens legs, but I dont think Id use it for shaving any other areas. I still prefer Dollar Shave Club over going to the store and buying a pack of these Gillette razors.
