This is a great razor. It makes a nice, close shave. I rate it 4 stars just because its not as wonderful as some of the other venus razors, but thats why its a bit cheaper. I knew that before I bought it. There is not much of a difference in the closeness of the shave but more so in shaving; the venus embrace has these moisture strips so after the first time (it takes time for the water to soak in) you dont even have to use shaving cream for the next several times till the moisture strips wears out. However, I am not sensitive when it comes to shaving and have no problem using shaving cream (hair conditioner) and the shave is almost as close as any other venus. If money were no problem, i would choose venus embrace though. Ive also tried the divine and that is nice too.

I’m Italian and have very course hair. I’m very OCD about any razor stubble on my legs. I’ve tried so many razors, including men’s. The blades (SMOOTH NOT THE EXTRA SMOOTH) work wonderfully. They will last me a little over a week with daily use. I’m so glad I was able to find this 8-pack in the subscribe and save just to keep a few extra pennies in my pocket. I would highly recommend these SMOOTH blades!

It does help with sensitivity, I will give it that. But the cost is outrageous!!!! I will not be spending any more money in this over hyped- over priced razors, any of their different ones they sell and make, as I have tried a few. I have found them all to just be extra expensive, sold based on their name brand, but are not providing any benefits for all the extra money they charge for these razors. Rip off! Many of the mens sensitive skin razors are far cheaper and offer better results. They are just not marketed to women for a higher price, as a lot of companies market womens products, and women go right out there and buy the products. Shop around for yourself. Try some other products out for yourself. You decide what’s best for you. You give other razors a try that are not marketed to women and see what you decide. I have tried many and have decided for myself. If you want to be a women and brag about your razors with other women, go ahead and spend your extra money here if that makes you feel good.

Very obviously not actual Gillette products. Low quality, cheap packaging. I ended up switching to the Amazon brand instead of rolling the dice on these again.

I’ve been using these razor blades since they first became available on the market and I’ve never been persuaded to switch because these just work. Long after the moisturizing strip has dissolved (I mean months after), they stay sharp enough for daily use in the shower. Since I appreciate simple, practical design in products, I am glad that these razor blades continue to be available. They’ll give you a close shave on your legs, underarms, and bikini area every day and without leaving a rash or nicking you. Plus they’re not as outrageously expensive as some razor blades that make claims but don’t do the job. I recommend them for people who need razor blades that work well and stand up to daily use.

I don’t think I’ve ever given a negative review for anything but these razors are awful. I’ve been using the same razor for way too long and I finally bought a replacement pack and omg I would have rather used a year old blade rather than these. I can’t return it so I thought I’d at least write a negative review

I, too, was startled to get refills that looked different from the ones I already had, with a metal bar on each side of the blades. At first I thought they were counterfeit or something, but it turns out its just a redesign; the ones you get in stores look like this now, too. I do find that they shave less well -- its like the metal staples holding the blades make them more recessed than they were before, so its harder to get a good close shave without irritating the skin. I cut myself more with these than I used to. But Ive adapted to them now, and I get decent results.

Hey sissies and pals, they are pretty average. I was just to lazy to go to the store and buy some from the local Food Lion. They have a bunch in them, although I go through a pack of 8 in 2 weeks bc I am a sloth. But they are great. For real- I would recommend. K bye, dont cut your self, please be careful. <3
