> 3 dayI purchased these to hang in my little sisters room as a surprise when she came home from college. They are exactly as they are pictured. The stars are shiny and of nice thick material. They do not seem cheap. Absolutely could be hung up year round. When hanging them up, I used masking tape. That worked okay for the stars I hung in an arc, but many of the stars had to have tape re-applied to stay up. The stars are nice quality, so they are a little heavy for masking tape. I would recommend putting them somewhere you can tie them to something or using a better adhesive. When I put the tape on, it did last over 3 hours, so for a same-day party, regular tape should be suffice.
