I got the Globber for my 11 year old. She has a couple scooters and a couple skateboards so I wasnt sure if she would like a three-wheeler but it looked cool and colorful so I gave it a try. When the package arrived it took under one minute to assemble the handle to the base. It was quick and easy. One think I noticed right away was the wheels. They were different from the typical scooter. I also noted how smooth the ride appeared to be. In watching my daughter test is out in the driveway the wheels gave the scooter a soft and smooth feel. And silent. We took the scooter out to the street to give it a real go and it looked like sooooo much fun. The ride was fast, smooth and the steering was awesome. My daughter LOVED it! The other thing that she loved about it was the color. I got it in her favorite color - red. She loved that it wasnt the ordinary silver of all the other scooters. It was colorful and she like that. A few days later she went to her schools playground with friends. They brought their skateboards and scooters and my daughter took her Globber. Everyone wanted to try it and they all loved how smooth and fast the ride was on the Globber. This was definitely a great buy. My daughter loves it and it looks really cool. Five stars for sure!

Globber Primo 3 Wheel Adjustable Height Scooter? Basically a training scooter, this ride on is perfect for kids ages 3 and up. With patented steering lock button, the two front wheels stay parallel, letting the scooter only go forward or backwards, teaching youngsters how to steer. It rides very smooth, and the base has ridges to prevent sliding if shoes while moving. This would be a great gift!

Got this scooter for my child’s 3rd birthday in mid November 2019. Last week The brake snapped off. The minimum age is 36 months, the age of our child using the scooter. We had gotten a Globber scooter for our older child about 2 years prior. It had a problem with the handle bar housing. The design is such that the vertical piece of the handle slides into a housing or fitting (not sure the proper name) and clicks into place with a button that pops through a hole in the housing. Without us knowing, the housing cracked in a way that allowed the button to slide out and the entire piece came off while our oldest was riding. She was not badly hurt but had more scrapes and bruises from that fall than from any other. We contacted globber about this and they wound up sending us an entire base replacement. But the replacement turned out to be for a newer model and did not fit her older model scooter. Again, contacted Globber and asked to review this issue because it was a crack in the housing that was part of the entire base of the scooter. Globber did not reply to my email. So I “fixed” it with some super glue and zip ties. We decided to go ahead and get the second scooter because the first one lasted about 18 months before it cracked. And we felt like this was a sort of freak thing that broke and not normal. By then a few weeks after we bought the 2nd scooter, the brake on the first one snapped off. So our 2 experiences haven’t been great with these scooters.

The scooter was easy to assemble, fairly sturdy frame but not durable whatsoever. After only 31 days delivered May 20 and broke June 21), the back brake piece completely broke off at the connecting metal bracket while my 6 year old child was scooting straight on the sidewalk in front of our home. The metal was clearly cheap as it should not severe with normal use! $70 down the hole. We are contacting their corporate office in hopes that they’ll replace it entirely or get us a brake new brake component. Absolutely unacceptable.

We got two of these scooters for my twins a little over a year ago. We thought they were great until the brake snapped off while my child was careening down a hill! And THEN the brake on the second one snapped off in the same way a week later. Many of the reviewers here have the same complaint. DO NOT BUY THIS UNSAFE SCOOTER! I gave it two stars because for the year they used them, the scooters were fine.

Invested in this scooter for our 3yr old who is a sturdy 60lbs. He absolutely loves it and it has held up well over the summer. I can see it still going strong over the next few years.

Purchased for a 4 year old boy who absolutely loves it. Purchased a Razor scooter for an older child at the same time, and while the razor is fine, the quality of this scooter over that one is noticeably better. The first thing are the wheels. Quiet and very smooth. This one has a wider deck for more stability. The wheels on the Globber do not transmit the amount of vibration up through the handle as the razor. Watching them side by side, it takes about 5 minutes to begin to notice the difference in quality. Granted, they are not the same price. Its not so much that Im unhappy with the razor as Im just really impressed with the Globber. Really well made.
