Thick, solid, flexible rubber. Hefty plugs. Coils nicely and lays out pretty flat. Well-behaved and reasonably easy to route during setup.

I like the large gauge wire used in the patch cable. I run this cable between a small (5w) tube amp and a speaker cabinet with a 75 w, 8 ohm, 10 Eminence speaker.
