I got the mat to help my 6-yr old son learn the position of cards during battle. He has since moved on without using it (which is annoying because I like the mat) so I keep it at work as a giant mousepad and occasionally use for poke battles at lunch.

This playmat is most definitely worth the price! Its really good quality, very smooth top, and heavy duty! Its also a great size, its great to play pokemon on it, theres so much room and doesnt feel crowded at all.
