I installed an illegal LG Washer/Dryer Combo in a multiple-story NYC apartment building and this vibration pad saved the day! I first placed ¾ plywood, then the mat and took the feet off the machine. It works like a charm!

We put this pad between my new front loader washer and my old dryer. We did end up taping the pad to the washer because it moved when we slid the dryer onto it (this was due to the short height of my closet opening more than a fault of the pad). The pad did NOT smell at all. It was extremely well made and our dryer does not move at all even when the washer is on ultra fast spin cycle. Highly reccomend!!

Works well to isolate vibration noise.

The pad arrived quickly, well packaged. As others mentioned, it smells like new tires, lol. I unwrapped it and put it outside for a day, this helped a lot. The reason for 4 stars, rather than 5...the pad is slightly too small for a standard front load washer on a base. We cut it in half, this worked just fine. The washer no longer travels across the room and is very stable and quiet. No more earthquakes when the washer is spinning!

I bought this to put under a portable washing machine to protect the bathtub and stop the noise from bothering downstairs neighbors. It did a fine job protecting the tub and cut down on the noise a good deal in the apartment. It bent enough to fit snuggly in the tub and shows no sign of mold or mildew despite using it for several months. It does show fuzzies though if I try to dry it with a microfiber cloth.

I live in a tiny house and I use an all in one washer/dryer. This fits perfectly underneath without a lot of excess. Make sure your washer is level again so you will have the optimal chance of the pad working. It definitely works as a sound dampener. Vibration is cut down by at 75%. I would recommend.

A chlorine monitor system our water system required ended up being installed at my house for lack of anywhere else that worked. It is attached to a wall in a basement mechanical room. The sound it makes is like a cell phone on vibrate sitting on a countertop. Every 30 seconds. Because it is attached to the wall, it sort of telegraphed through the whole house. The wall transmitted the vibration and noise all the way through the house. It was unbelievably annoying. I installed a piece of this between the wall and the noisy device and it practically eliminated the noise outside of the mechanical room. I can hear it through the wall if Im in the hall on the other side of the wall. But I no longer hear it anywhere else in the house. If you have noisy medical equipment, pumps, or similar noise-makers in the house, this really is a good solution.

I put this under a washing machine that is in a closet and generated a lot of noise. It was a significant improvement. I would guesstimate at least a 10db reduction in noise. Highly recommend this mat!

A perfect size to set noisy machine on. Easy to cut if it needs trimming.

Bought this to go under my portable washer in my 2nd floor apartment. The house is old and there is minimal insulation so noise really travels. This purchase was an attempt to reduce noise levels and improve the neighbor relationship. I had to try it out as soon as it was delivered and honestly Im impressed. I can no longer hear the washer stop in the other room and when you feel the floor near the washer, the vibrations stop about 4 inches away. The vibrations are also very minimal. The mat is quite a bit larger than my washer. In the pic the mat is slid up under the counter and the washer is 2 inches away from the counter. in the future I may cut the side of the mat off and use it behind the washer so that I can push it back against the cabinet and have more stability.
