> 3 dayA 19th c marble-topped furniture stand I purchased at auction was in an awful state. There were deep gouges in the front feet and legs and it was missing chunks of wood baluster. This product can be applied in a very thin layer to curved, hard-to-make-it-look-good spots. It can also be used to replace missing chunks like the round on a baluster. After allowing the product to dry or “cure” for 24-hrs, it can be sanded (in a well-ventilated, mask covered face) area with 600 grit paper to a smooth, can’t even notice it, paintable surface. While using a palette knife to apply it can be a bit tricky because of it’s fairly loose consistency, if you’re willing to commit a brush or two to the project, you could find they save time and aggravation. I’ve also grabbed a blob of it with a gloved hand and “molded” it to the foot. While it can’t be used to recreate a leaf or scroll, it’s very useful (due to its ability to conform to a shape) in filling-in a medallion. For this project, I used the “paste” exclusively,

> 3 dayI ordered this and it arrived very late after I was informed it was lost by carrier. I have no way to advise Amazon I accepted it. Upon opening, I noticed the top had long crack that allowed air inside, forming a dry crust on filler. I scraped it off and after doing so, realized I could not return it. I made use of some filler and repaired the cracked top. I will buy again, but not online. Shipping delays caused a week delay in completion of project.

> 3 dayThe island in our kitchen needed a little TLC; the wood on the sides was somewhat warped, and we need to install some molding on the floors. There were large crevices from the warped wood. I used the GORILLA ALL PURPOSE WOOD FILLER to fill in the large crevices as well as some of the small cracks. It was easy to spread and shape. Once it dried, I painted with the same color as the wood on my kitchen island. It looks great!

> 3 dayThus product has grit in it, like sand, it shrinks when drying. So filling holes in drawer fronts was a lot if extra work. Had to fill 2x and and each time. Inconsistent, air holes and shrinkage. I had 8 drawers to fill holes on and it took me much longer because of the product. I still didn’t end up with a smooth defect free finish. I was under time crunch, and this became a frustrating issue. I ordered powdered wood fill; So I can control consistency and get a smooth finish. I also tried wood putty powder on next project and seemed to act like drywall mud, did end up building it up and was able to sand perfectly even. Probably needed to be primed, even with chalk paint. Didnt crack or shrink, though, as was promised.

> 3 dayI got this after it was recommended to me. I love using this for filling gaps in joints for resin model kits It spreads/fills easily and since it is meant to fill gaps in wood it sands to a smooth finish.

> 3 dayI’m fixing baseboards and closet shelves. I was using Elmer’s and Dap brand…they are so hard to sand and shape. Plus the product would often dry out even when the lid was on right. So I tried a different brand and am so glad I did! I’ll never go back! Plus the lid fits better and no drying out! Yay! Thank you for a great product!
