I have to give props to the designers of these screen protectors, this was the easiest and most satisfying install Ive ever done on any device. Cleaned the SDs screen of dust and fingerprints and positioned the screen protector against the leftmost bezel...and then just dropped it and watched the wave from L-R as the adhesion took place...ultra-satisfying and zero bubbles or anything! Cant even tell its there! Touchscreen functionality is flawless. As far as anti-glare though...the pictures speak for themselves. The SD was never really designed as an outdoor-friendly device but still...understand that nearly any screen will reflect given enough light; these are overcast skies at mid-morning. I cant imagine how bad actual sunlight would be. Overall though, not really concerned about the glare, want to keep this fantastic screen clear of defects, and thats what this protector will do!

I received this product for free as part of the Amazon Vine program. This screen protector fits the Steam Deck very well, but you do need to be careful when applying it or youll get bubbling (since the plastic around the Steam Deck touchscreen is slightly raised). Of course this also allows you to line up the edge of the screen protector before you press it down into place. Some smart phone screen protectors are slightly smaller by a millimeter or so compared to the screen the protector is trying to cover. This gives you a bit of wiggle room while applying it. You dont have that leeway with this screen protector. It fits the touch screen exactly, with no gaps at all. This is a good thing since it makes the screen protector look like it really is part of the Steam Deck, but you need to apply it precisely. Thankfully, the package contains two screen protectors, so if you mess up one you can immediately apply the other. Another good feature is the oleophobic coating. This repels some, but not all, of the oils from your fingers, Without this coating the oils can build up enough to distort the colors shining through the screen (like a prism). I havent had that issue with this screen protector. The screen still gets fingerprint smudges that youll want to wipe of periodically, but its not going to mess with your use of the Deck. One thing worth noting is that if, like me, you have the Steam Deck that includes the anti-reflective touchscreen, adding this screen protector will make your Deck just as reflective as the regular Steam Deck screen. In the picture I took with the Deck turned off, you can get a sense of the reflectivity with the protector applied to the screen. I will say that unless you use the deck with bright light behind you, it is likely you wont notice the reflectivity while the Deck is on and you are using it. However, if you bought the Deck specifically for the anti-glare treatment, you should consider purchasing a different protector. The glass itself is just as hard and smooth as any other 9H screen protector Ive ever used. That means it is hard and very smooth, but also very prone to cracking if the screen gets bumped too hard. Of course the whole point of a screen protector is for it to take the brunt of damage so your expensive touchscreen does not. The protector does not affect the touchscreen responsiveness in any significant fashion that I can detect. You likely wont have problems unless you have poor circulation in your fingers and have issues using non-covered touch screens. The package comes with the standard set of alcohol wipes, small cleaning cloth, and dust removing stickers. They will get the job done, but they arent generous or the best quality. The outer packaging is fine. The box opens like a book. That book is held closed by a large white sticker. One you break that sticker, though, theres nothing to keep the package closed if you drop it. This isnt the first glass screen protector I used on my Steam Deck. The first one I purchased (not from this company) when I first got the deck was probably a millimeter or so too wide, so the protector didnt seat firmly on the touchscreen and had a permanent bubble underneath it. Also, this protector from another company didnt have the oleophobic coating that this protector does and I had to wipe it down constantly to avoid visibility issues. This Gorrzal screen protector is much better than that old protector I was using and so long as the slight glare from this screen protector isnt a problem for you, I highly recommend this as a cost-effective protective measure for your expensive Steam Deck. It fits well without affecting any cases or docks you might want to use.

Worried about scratching your Steam Decks screen? Then this protector will certainly protect it from any small scratches. The quality of the glass is great as I didnt notice any loss in picture quality or glare and the touch screen still worked when it was applied. (Note: I only own the 64gb version that does not have the etched glass. If you own the 512gb version with etched glass, a screen protector will cause extra glare and/ or picture quality shifts.) Included in the package are 2 protectors as well as 2 screen cleaning packets. My only issue with the protector is that their quality assurance may not be up to par as the first screen protector I applied did not adhear to one corner of my deck. When I applied the second one however, it adhered perfectly. Your milage may very with this however.
