Hair gel.

I like this product and have used it for several years. It adds body to my hair and puts bounce in my straight hair after using a curling iron. I would recommend it to someone looking to add fullness to your hair.

If you get the product from a reputable vendor the product is excellent. You only need to use a little from this small bottle, compared the amount you would normally need from the tubs of hair product. The 4-pack (the online product) that I received from the vendor closeouts&discontinueds was not up to par with the same exact product I purchased from the local big-box-mart (the original product). I loved the original product so much, that I immediately went online to purchase more before I even ran out. So by the time I received the 4-pack from the online vendor I still had the original product to compare it to. First, each bottle was sealed with packing tape. They took a small strip of tape and wrapped it around the top. Looks cheap, leaves a sticky residue when removed, but you can deal with it. Second, and more importantly, the smell of the product is completely different from the original product. The original product has a nice scent to it, the online product smells like a box of crayons. Third, the consistency of online product is noticeably thinner than the original product. Fourth, the online product lacked any of the little air bubbles you normally see in hair gel. The original product definitely had the air bubbles. These four points lead me to believe that the vendor closeouts&discontinueds either diluted the original product with a cheaper hair gel, or completely replaced it with a different product. Either way, the 4-pack from closeouts&discontinueds is a lot cheaper in cost than if you were to purchase it from, say Target or WalMart, but the quality of the product is also cheaper. Be weary of who you purchase this from.

This product has exactly the same packaging and labeling as what was previously available in the stores (I compared them side-by side). Unfortunately, whats inside is different. It smells similar and almost works the same, but is runny like cheap shampoo where the product formerly sold in stores was a true gel and would not pour. It still works much better than some of the competing products out there, but at twice the price of what it used to be in the stores combined with it being watered down, Ill be looking for an alternative. From reading other reviews, I guess I lucked out in that only one of my bottles came with a broken cap and only an ounce or two had leaked out into the packaging. I swapped caps with my last store-bought bottle.
