These plugs have helped me to add another level of automation to my home. I use these for appliances that dont need to be drawing power constantly but are difficult to plug/unplug due to the socket location. With the Alexa voice control I can simply tell them to turn on when needed. My favorite use for them is on my coffee bar with automation incorporated. Every morning around the time I wake up for work the plug automatically turns my Nespresso machine and milk frother on and then automatically turns off around the time I leave for work, ensuring they arent sitting on all day. The automation is super easy to set up in the Govee app.

This is a very good value for the money. It does work fine with Alexa after the relatively simple instructions are followed. I probably missed that other software was needed to use this. Not sure I would have bought if I was fully aware which I admit is my issue. I Just prefer using the fewest apps / brands / companies possible, whenever possible.

Love these smart switches. I have one on the TV/Nintendo switch that is only on for the hours my husband is home, and another in my boys room that turns their night lights on at bedtime and turns them off a few hours later. Super easy to set up. A little unsure of the company itself and having an app on my phone, but overall choosing convenience at this point.

The app that accompanies this makes the plugs very easy to change. I recommend, however, that you stick something on each plug to label it and then label it in the app accordingly. Otherwise unless you use them very often you won’t know how to change each one for a vacation setting. Another important recommendation: buy one brand of plugs and stick with it. I have these Govee plugs as well as another brand, and it is a mess to use both. Finally, and most rooms I do not need a dual plug, having only one thing to plug into it. I would have done better with eight separate plugs.

I use these for a space heater (900 watts) and a night light. The heater so that I dont have to remember to turn it on and off when I go to bed and wake up, and the light so I can see in the morning when I wake up and then have it shut off right about when Im walking out the door. Having to wake up at 4am is tough to do visually and I needed a way to see when I get up and not disturb my sleeping wife. Im not sure if theres a way to turn off the blue led indicator that lets you know an outlet is on, but thats a bright led when you prefer to sleep in pyre darkness. Also it can only be controlled my one account, but thats minor stuff. My wife doesnt like clutter and I have a bunch of govee lights around the house and there are 2 lights we both control, so she just has to deal with seeing multiple products when she wants to run on and off those lights. Really I cant say enough about govee products, I am able to set them up first try every time, quickly and easily. And Im a person that people dont believe exists, I have problems with things that nobody ever hears of. So when something just works right away with no issues, its weird for me, and I tend to stick with those products and manufacturers.

I used the outlets to turn on lights and a fan in a hard to reach place. Each outlet is separately controlled and is easily named and renamed. Installation went quickly and smoothly as did connecting it to Alexa. Alexa turned on and off each outlet as expected. Very happy thus far with the ease of use and ease of connecting to Alexa.

I just use Bluetooth to control the switch, both plug is use in my room only, one plug I use it to turn on Raspberry PI3 with OSMC as a remote, I turn off the device within the software, but cant remotely turn it on, so I bought this just to do that, even though have to press off twice then press on is better then have to walk up to turn on the pi every time, I also use the phone to control the OSMC, so it became a universal remote control. 1 plug use it to auto turn on and off a 1.7cu ft small refrigerator for storing my makeup and some soda, have it set to turn off 1 hour after on for 2 hours, even the refrigerator is turn off, the temperature will remain, this will help with icing up, cause no matter what setting I use the fridge will have icing around the little freezer compartment. since I have set this up, no more icing up, dont know it would save some electricity by reducing the time but it surely save me some cleaning work. By the way I use an old phone laying around to control the plug, also I think the app need Android 7 or higher, cause I try to use an even older phone with Android 5 cant install the app. For the setting, it was confusing, have to go different part to set up one thing, if you only set up 1 timer then is easy, but if want to set up more timer to the same device have to go to different part to do it, it doesnt have the setting for turn on and off every etc... , have to manually set up every one, so I have to set up 8 timer just to do that, but it get the job done at the end, and I like it has Bluetooth just in case the wifi down, so I bought another set.

This is probably the best most convenient way for me to schedule the lights for my reptiles. Govee is really good.

We live out in the country, basically off grid with Sasquatch playing the banjo just beyond the trees, so we aren’t able to get wifi or satellite. These things give us a bit of the technology we would like to have and link right to our Bluetooth for control on our phones! You can turn them on and off at your choosing through the app, or you can set times and days for them to turn on and power the plugged in item. These are perfect for our wax melts and gaming LEDs. As well as lamps for when we just get home from work. I’m already on our 6th outlet and have plans for more. Highly recommend!

I use them for the bedroom lamp so I don’t have to get out of bed to turn it off. I use them for my grow lamps and water filter for my aquaponics system. I also use them to automate my reptile tanks lights, heat lamps, and water fall. I had trouble with one outlet out of two boxes (4/box) and contacted them through fb messenger to see if there was a way to fix it. They asked for my order number and sent out a replacement and haven’t had any trouble since.
