Havent used these enough yet to give a complete review, but they do cut steel OK. The diamonds are embedded well enough that they dont fall off. My only advice is to cut straight through and avoid rubbing the steel part of the blade on the metal being cut. Heat might become an issue. if steel gets too hot it will warp. So far that has not been an issue.

Wheel is nicely made for quick clean cuts on small metal pieces.Sliced through 1/4 X 4 like a hot knife through butter. no worries about blade shrinkage from wear down. blade is thin and rigid which allows you to make very straight cuts. Caution; make sure you have the right sized arbor on the lock nut. I had to buy an adapter to get mines to fit my Makita (5/8 to 7/8) SHDIATOOL 7/8-Inch to 5/8-Inch Saw Blade 1.0mm-1.2mm Thickness Bushing(10-Pack). Makita has screwy dimensions for its small angle grinders. The spindle is 10mm-1.25 but the flange is 5/8ths.

Its ok. It should have lasted longer in my opinion.

Started great and quickly dulled. Lasted max 20 cuts on ‘64 Chevy Truck body panels. Granted my cuts are 12-18” for the most part, I only got 2 weekends of work out of this and it’s now just a friction burn cut. I’ll try something else but it did a great job for the first day. So 3 stars not 5.

For the price of a pack of cutoff wheels cant really beat it. The wheel seems to send off less sparks and I feel that it keeps the part cooler than it normally would.

Much better than going through a bunch of regular cut off discs. Has trouble with thicker metal, but so do the regular ones.

Cuts like butter

Works well. I use it to cut steel and works well. Not as fast as an abrasive disk but doesn’t wear like one.

I finally got a chance to use the cutter.so far I’m very impressed, less spark and dust. It seems to cut clean and fast.

Cut threw tin like cutting threw warm butter. Very happy.
