i bought this for someone that is struggling with control (lack thereof) so they would have something to put their hand around when thinking of taking control. Then, if that wasnt enough they could pull it out & read the serenity prayer.

It’s detail is amazing and being alive was definitely his second year of sobriety.

The craftsmanship is excellent. Ant fan of the Grateful Dead would recognize the album cover and that makes it unique enough to carry and a cool gift for that crowd. More importantly, people get chips & medallions signifying thier number of months or years of sobriety, I get mine each year and carry it with me as a reminder while looking forward to next year. But this Grateful to be Alive can be carried proudly if you have 24 years or 24 hours, IT TELLS THE WHOLE STORY.
