The product is perfect

GBS is by far, the best beard balm on the market. But the Bay Rum is a bit oily compared to the Cigar Blend. And the smell is not as nice as the vanilla scent from the Cigar Blend. It has a soap smell, which is a clean smell, just soapy. I wish the product description included an accurate scent description, too. I would like to try some of the other GBS tins, but now Im not so sure. Ill just stick with the Grave Before Shave Cigar Blend.

Ive used a lot of balm, my beard tends to get too soft and fluffy and bushes out. This is the only balm so far that actually keeps it firm and shaped, other balms tend to soften it like a conditioner, I dont condition my beard. This balm after about a week of daily use has my beard perfect, smells great too. Fyi, white guy with a big but not the thickest beard, it tends to frizz out

The product melts in my hand and goes where I want it. Easy to apply and smells great. Leaves my beard soft. Love the stuff.

While it smells good the oil and butter bay rum smells so much better. Must be the wax in the product or something to make the fragrance different. Sometimes Ill put some oil on after but it does make it almost too greasy feeling because the oil doesnt really absorb after the balm as well. I really like the smell though. Hold is not the best for a balm but I love the bay rum smell. It does make your beard shiny and the hold lasts for a few hours. Does a good job making beard softer and moisturizing the skin underneath.

It reminds me of my Grandpas cologne.

Product bought to replace a balm no longer available that I really liked. Not disappointed with the GBS it has a good scent and holds all day long.
