GRAYL GeoPress Replacement Filter & Purifier Cartridge (Black)

These cartridges do a great job removing bad tastes and impurities. Used one for tap water all over Thailand and never got sick (except when I bought an iced coffee on the street in Bangkok and forgot about the ice in it).

I keep my GeoPress with me always..Since getting this, I no longer have to worry if the water is okay to drink or buy water in plastic bottles which is a pollutant.

Great replacement for Grayl water bottles.

First filter lasted a good 400 uses.

I think I’m going to like it but I don’t know yet the bottle takes a long time to get it we bought the filter so we have extras

Bought Geopress for my parents because they were driving through 30 plus countries, I was worried about water qualities. This works great, its getting harder to press after 2 months of use though, its a bit expensive but I guess in some places you cant find purified water then this is quite handy

The only difficulty I have is with separating the cups when I want to refill or clean the bottle parts. My 74 year old hands find I need help with that. The pressing part is easy. This is a gift from my son and daughter-in-law for my birthday to take camping - a cross between tent and primitive camping as I do use some comfort items. I like the bright colors for they are easier for me to see - anytime. My next one I think will be blue. Pricey but reliable with a good safety factor. Addendum: It took five five cycles before the seals sealed. I let it sit overnight in pieces and this morning it seems to work properly. The next few days will tell me for sure if this particular cup system is reliable. I tried videoing the the run overs but by myself I was not successful. Its a filter that screws to your cup, super awesome and great packaging. Love my grayl bottle.

it works as promised. unfortunately UPS decided that since i ordered this to receive on Friday they decided to hold delivery till monday. doesnt do me any good sitting at the UPS store when im camping where i needed it.

Bought a geopress and spare filter, It pay to have a spare.
