> 24 hourThis is my first optical cable used at home from what I can tell the build quality seems good. Plugged into my Ubiquiti and my QNAP NAS and it worked without any intervention.

> 24 hourMuch to my surprise, the SFP module works perfectly as an uplink interconnect between Araknis routers and Araknis Gigabit switches. This frees up one Ethernet port on the router and switch in my project, which is valuable. The price is excellent and the cable seems to be working perfectly. The Araknis SFP ports are Gigabit, and the cable supports 10Gbps, but the link works just fine.

> 24 hourSo far so good. Using in my temporary setup at home after finally getting my hands on a Unifi UDM SE and a Unifi 24 POE Enterprise switch. Boot it up the first time with the DAC cable in and it picked up 10gbs no problem. Been running all day and so far super solid.

> 24 hourUpdate: It turns out the original DAC I received was defective. The vendor reached out and resolved the issue quickly. The new cable performs as expected. 5 stars for a company that backs their product! ————————- Original review below: This 2 meter DAC cable presents “OEM” as the vendor. Legit 10GTek shows up as “10GTek”. I would be willing to look past this if it weren’t for the terrible network performance. This cable yields 60Mbps (out of the 10,000 rating) using iperf. I validated this result with Speedtest and Fast and got the same result. Swapping DAC cables with a legit 10GTek cable gives me the expected speeds 984 Mbps symmetrical to the Internet (AT&T GigaPower) and 9925 Mbps between switches using iperf. I hope this review helps you make an unbiased informed purchasing decision.

> 24 hourGreat SFP+ 10 gig cable. I use it to connect a Ubiquiti Dream Machine Pro to a 48 port POE switch via SFP+ ports. Links right up at 10 gigs and has been flawless. I like the green color, as it stands out against the rest of my network wiring color scheme.

> 24 hourIm revising my original review. While the product I originally bought wasnt the correct part for my build, the support I got from 10G Tech was above and beyond! I was contacted by their support and after a few questions regarding my setup they shipped me a DAC that was a match for my system. I have no error messages from my Aruba switch. Thank you for the amazing support! Original review: While this DAC cable is a good value for the money...it doesnt work in my configuration. Unfortunately Im outside my return window now. I have a UDM Pro and an Aruba 1930 POE switch. It connects at 10G, but has the switch in an alarm state of non-compliant SFP inserted. Not sure what the long-term effects of running in this state would be.
