> 24 hourRating this at 3/5 due to 1/3 cables not working. They all worked for less than 2 months until it started dropping connections. Tried to get it resolved but the amount of time I spent with CC just to let them know that this one cable isn’t working and is dropping connections is way too long. Vendor did reach out to swap the cable after sending the defective cable in but that’ll result back n at least a week of downtime, which at this point it’s a lot easier buying another one instead. For a cable to stop working in less than two months, it’s not ideal. Yeah the price is affordable yet quality may be questionable at best. YMMV.

> 24 hourThis is a no-nonsense 10G DAC cable, I say that because you plug it in and it works. I’ve tested this cable myself with Cisco (Router and switches), Netgear (Switches), Mikrotik (Router and switches), Broadcom (NIC) and Mellanox (NIC) devices and it just works. High marks for compatibility. I own many cables from 10Gtek and they all are like this green one. I got the green cables for color coding devices. I’m very happy with this cable.

> 24 hourUpdate: It turns out the original DAC I received was defective. The vendor reached out and resolved the issue quickly. The new cable performs as expected. 5 stars for a company that backs their product! ————————- Original review below: This 2 meter DAC cable presents “OEM” as the vendor. Legit 10GTek shows up as “10GTek”. I would be willing to look past this if it weren’t for the terrible network performance. This cable yields 60Mbps (out of the 10,000 rating) using iperf. I validated this result with Speedtest and Fast and got the same result. Swapping DAC cables with a legit 10GTek cable gives me the expected speeds 984 Mbps symmetrical to the Internet (AT&T GigaPower) and 9925 Mbps between switches using iperf. I hope this review helps you make an unbiased informed purchasing decision.

> 24 hourWhat can I say? Its green, its 10G and its cheap. Just buy it. Great quality and highly flexible and well built. I own roughly 20 of these in various colors/lengths.

> 24 hourIm using this short DAC to connect a US-24 and USW-Aggregation switch together. That is, a 1gb SFP with a 10gb SFP+ port. The two switches were able to auto-negotiate the connection just fine and I did not have to manually go into the settings to force the link speed to 1gbps. I however wished this cable was 1ft or 0.3 meter.

> 24 hourI incorrectly thought that a .5 meter cable would be .5 meters of flexible cable. This is not the case. Here are some dimensions. 20 end to end, complete length with SFPs 15 of cable between SFPs 12.5 of bendable cable

> 24 hourPerfect compatibility on my Ubiquiti switches. Going from US-16-150 to US-24 it autonegotiates to 1G without any setup.
