The product needs to be used regularly, on the order of once a month. It also works most actively if after inserting the sticks you chase it with a couple cups of boiling water! That tip came from another reviewer some time ago and started making these sticks actually work.

I have bought this a number of times. They keep my drains running.

I had my doubts about these things but figured Id try them since my bathroom sink and shower drains get clogged up with so much hair. I try to snake my drains a couple of times a year with one of those spiky flexible snake things. Normally when I do that, I end up with a wad of nasty soap scum covered hair the size of a small rat. Its been about a year since I snaked my drains. Ive been using these since the beginning of May. I went to clean out the drains this past weekend and I only pulled out a few strands of hair. Im super impressed. I just knew that I was going to realize these were a waste of money, but they definitely arent. Im going to buy more for the kitchen and other bathroom.

I had a rotten egg smell in my shower drain, that I could not get rid of, even after cleaning out everything. I used a couple of these and the next day the smell was gone. I did drop them in all the drains and toilet tanks in the house, I am not sure if that made a difference or not. I will continue to do this every month to avoid that nasty smell. I highly recommend this product!

I am using this product for about 18 months , it seems to works and my kitchen drain flows smooth.... but I think this product must use consistently.

We drop these down our drains once a month. Seems to help control build-up.

It’s not as good as the water one, some small sink is hard to pull it in, while the water one works perfectly.
