Green Toys Rescue Boat with Helicopter

My rough toddler grandsons are hard on toys and Green Toys take the beating. They are favorites too.

Super high quality toy. Extremely durable and well constructed. A great value for the money. I will seek out other toys from this manufacturer.

Great bathtub toy! Sturdy, colorful, and, as the grandkids can attest, fun to play with in the water.

All of the Green Toys are excellent: durable, well-crafted, great for the tub, etc. But I especially love this double-the-fun offering -- a fire boat AND a rescue helicopter, plus two figurines (my almost 3 year old calls them Pilot Bear and Captain Duck, and they feature in a lot of imaginative play, even without their vehicles). I love how inviting these toys are for my child, and how they offer themselves to open-ended imaginative play without needed any noisy bells and whistles. A well-meaning (or possibly vengeful) grandparent gifted my daughter a whole set of rescue vehicles, all with loud sirens. But she chooses this toy every time.

This is very high quality and my kids love it. It however is MUCH bigger than I thought (like a foot long). I thought I was getting a small bath toy! Oops!

2 for one! Recycled plastic that doesnt break without significant effort (or power tools.) My child adores this toy.

Very nice quality and a fun concept. Like others have mentioned the boat is very susceptible to taking on water but my biggest gripe is that there is a flaw in the design that makes it a very unrealistic set up. The helicopter cannot land or take off without the tail rotor striking the boat! I know this is not a naval engineering design or anything but kids learn from their toys and ones of this nature and quality should be somewhat more realistic. This isn’t just an old man complaint. I explained the function of the tail rotor to my 2yr old and she asked why it hits the boat...I haven’t even noticed. Anyway, fun and nice quality none the less.

Only wish is that the cockpit in the helicopter was bigger. Made specifically for a little character that counts as a choking hazard, so I had to keep the pilot& capt out. Wish bigger toys could fit

Update: I maintain my 2-star rating for the design of this helicopter, but I want to give GreenToys a 5-star rating for customer service. When I emailed GreenToys about the flaw with this helicopter, they immediately sent me a replacement via FedEx with a shipping label so I could return the broken toy for them to inspect and improve their design. Original review: Just before Christmas, I purchased several of Green Toys toys on Amazon.com for my 2-year-old son. I liked that their toys are made in the U.S. and that they are made from recycled milk jugs. We are really happy with all of the toys, except for one. The helicopter that came with the rescue boat is one of my sons favorites, but the design has a major flaw. The part of the tailboom where the tail rotor is attached is hallow and this area wasnt strong enough for a little kid to be able to spin the rotor without it breaking. Id suggest that they redesign that part of the toy to make it stronger (perhaps it should attach like the main rotor or perhaps that part of the toy should be made more substantial).
