> 3 dayIts a stretchy rope. Nice for pulling people out because you dont have the sudden hit like a normal rope.

> 3 dayI was offroading, a 2WD Sequoia was buried to the rear axle in sand. I hooked up to him with this and pulled him out with a gentle tug.

07-06-2025I love a certain yellow off road recovery guy, but you can buy 6 of these for the price of his rope. If youre like me and just need to pull the occasional buddy out of a creek because jeep, this is a phenomenal choice.

> 3 dayI love Matt’s off road recovery. That’s the only reason I know if kinetic energy ropes. But I don’t need one very often. And when I do it’s for real small stuff. I would love to support Matt but I can’t justify the cost of his rope. So I found this. I’ve used it a few times and it’s awesome! I’m sure it won’t last as long as a $3-500 rope. But it was under $50. For that money this really great.

> 3 dayHaven’t used it yet. Seems really solid. Definitely want to protect from abrasion )as you should with any rope). Just fits into a large shackle.

Greater than one weekI got this a few months ago as I am constantly pulling people out of the sand on the beach. I used to use a standard tow strap but found that it put a lot of strain on both vehicles and if the stuck car was really buried I would start to bury myself. With this I can take a running start and the cars pop right out of the sand. I don’t touch cars unless they have factory tow points. I leave those to the tow operators. Since the middle of June I’ve used this a half dozen times. My biggest complaint is the bag is too small. And the design of the bag is horrible. This makes it difficult to put the rope away. It would be far better to have a mesh stuff sack style bag with no zipper. The sand clogs the zipper on occasion making the bag useless.

> 3 dayMy wife and I have a short skoolie conversion that has over wintered in front of our workshop entrance. A big hail storm was coming through and I needed to get a vehicle into the workshop to protect it but the bus surprisingly had no reverse gear (future me problem). In a pinch I hooked my car up to the bus with this rope and managed to drag it back 15 feet to get the car into the workshop before the hail hit. The bus is about 12,000 lbs and the rope held up with no problem, even though I couldnt use it properly since the bus has no recovery points and I was forced to just loop it around the frame. Ultimately, no hail damage!
