> 24 hourThis tracer came in clear packing with no instructions. It may require a battery but nothing in the Amazon ad says if it does. I was unable to trace any wires. If your going to buy one I suggest you buy a little expensive one

> 24 hourI have several video cables in my house that were not marked. In order to hook up TV’s in the bedrooms I had to find what cable went where. This little tool is so easy to use. Put the toner (the small silver part) on the video connector in the wall, then take the blue end that looks like a pen and plug it into the other end of cables till you find the one that beeps. Very easy to use!

> 24 hourI recently moved into a new-to-me house... there were cable hookups literally in every room. Everything routed to a panel in a closet... and were mislabeled. This tool was the only way to sort it all out. Be aware you need your own AAA battery. Otherwise, a great product. Works as advertised.

> 24 hourTester works great. Relatively inexpensive. Recommend purchasing. On another note. Why should I pay for prime if Amazon can’t rely on USPS. Waste of time and money to use them. They are never on time, always deliver the product days late. Seriously contemplating stopping prime.
