My daughter loves this seat and thinks it’s so fancy! It makes her feel like a big girl to be able to get on the big potty without help. It is not super sturdy and I’m always in there with her when she uses it because of that. My daughter is very petite so it might not be ideal for a larger toddler.

I tried a few toilet seats for my 2.5 year old and ended up picking this one because of one major design advantage - it has an extra ladder close to the toilet seat which allows my son to rest his leg on it and lean forward when he poops, so this is essentially a squatty potty on top of a toddler toilet seat, which I found really useful because he is still learning how to channel his internal strength for pooping lol. On top of that, it also has very cute design. Overall, I would recommend the product!

Tried a small on the floor toilet for a 2 yo. It didnt draw the interest I thought it would. But he loves to climb ladders so I thought Id try this handy training aid. HE LOVES IT! Now you cant stop him from wanting to climb on the seat . He doesnt alway GO but at least he likes the seat and knows where Go .

We are on day 1 of the potty learning journey with our autistic 4-year old, and the Growth Pic toddler toilet seat got our kid to sit on the toilet…over a dozen times. We had purchased another style of seat that just sits over the toilet seat cover, along with a step stool, and that combination did not feel secure to us or our kiddo and he balked at not being able to maneuver on and off the toilet on his own. (Our kid has vestibular and proprioceptive challenges, which translates to having a tough time understanding where his body is in space). The Growth Pic step ladder and clever monkey shaped handles are first and foremost sturdy. Once on the toilet, the seat remains on and is durable to hold nearly 40-pounds of kid wiggling. Secondly, the seat gives our kid the ability to climb on and off the toilet on his own, which helps boost his confidence. We’ve been pleased with the easy assembly and set up, including the splash guard for boys (helping our kid learn to point down too). The fruit imprints on the white part of the step kept our kid occupied enough while sitting and waiting, which is helpful in a small sized bathroom, as you don’t have to have another item to have on hand to try and throw at your kid to keep them still until they empty their bladder fully. The only minor down sides: the seat worked better for us with our toilet seat up and wasn’t sturdy at all over the toilet seat itself. But as another reviewer mentioned, the silver lining is an über clean toilet! The other downside is us having to get our kid to understand that all toilets will not be so accommodating once we start branching out. But hopefully, his confidence will continue to grow as he gets more used to using the potty. Thank you Growth Pic for allowing parents one less stress in the potty learning journey.

My granddaughter loved this. She felt secure and could hold handles while climbing onto the potty. It fold easily so others can use the toilet without too much disruption. It really helped with her potty training ! And no emptying !

Bought this toilet seat for my 3 year old because I was tired of emptying her potty that also took up space in our 1st floor bathroom. Its really easy for her to place it on and off the toilet. It was easy to put together and its very sturdy. The only drawback were the screws for the pee guard didnt seem to line up so I couldnt add it to the seat. Didnt remove a star for this because we didnt need it any way. My daughter didnt like the little pink step because it was too small for her, but I can see it as being useful for a younger/smaller child. Overall, love this toilet seat.

My Daughter loves this . We do to! While in the process of potty training we went from helping her use the potty to her being able to use the toilet on her own practically overnight. This product really has made her comfortable and confident to continue to use the toilet by her self. Keep in mind she is two and is able to remove her own bottom clothing.

We bought this for our granddaughter for her visit at Thanksgiving! She loved it—potty training took a positive turn. We gave it to our kids to take home. We will be buying another for our house! This potty seat is sturdy and so cute!! Great purchase!!
