This wire feels too light to be copper, and it also feels harder to cut than copper. The lightness and cutting difficulty made me think this wire was CCA, but it doesnt quite look like aluminum in the core after cutting it. The resistance measured very low with a multimeter, and I dont have an easy way to prove this wire to be OFC/CCA, so take my observations as observations, not conclusions. The insulation is tough, but not very flexible (feels like 1/4 PVC plumbing) and doesnt hold up to soldering heat well.

Its speaker wire so it works for the purpose intended. I recommend for the value.

Fanatastic quality wire, all copper, great flex and finish. This is such a wonderful wire to work with and looks/feels expensive. Worked fantastic for a solar project. Get the 50 foot, youll find a lot of uses and wish you had more.

Ive wired a number of car stereos in my day and this is as good as anything. I used it on my boat for the power and ground for an amplifier, buy also to run from my batteries to my main fuse board. Thick but flexible and worked as expected. Good thick gage wire for the money.

I used these cables for large speakers. The cables are the gauge, length, and quality the seller posted
