dont think they use the same wiring standards. orders 12awg but the thickness and number of coopper wire looks and performs as my 16awg cable. do not recommend.

Used it to install lights on my Ford ranger and this came in handy. Very well insulated wire. Would recommend for any light installation.

Very good wire. Had to run 15 ft for a wheelchair ramp handled the load and everything. Its handled the weather great for the last 7 months

I very rarely give 5 star reviews, but this one earned it on every category. Its pure copper, thick gauge and nice thick insulation. I havent hooked it up and listened to it yet and when I do if it fails me for some reason Ill be back to change this review so if your reading this Im not disappointed. Also I knew it was good quality soon as I picked up the package, it was double the weight that a similar roll was for the same footage that wasnt solid copper. This one is the real deal!.

This wire is good for projects where you need to run low voltage power. The copper appears to be of good quality and solders easily. I recommend it for DIY projects for automobile work or other low voltage applications
