I used this under the hood and the after being exposed to the heat for about a month the wire started to corrode and crumble inside the insulation. The wire turned to powder. I had to rewire everything with different wire.

Good to have these if you do wiring on your vehicle. Price adds up if you hit the auto parts for wiring. This is the much cheaper route.

i purchased in 2017. at that time the description did NOT say CCA. Everything I have used this on has to be redone. I used on heavy machinery and the ends sucked up moisture and rotted back into the cable for FEET!. ...and i mean ends under a fully covered dashboard. You cant even strip it...just falls apart. Glad to see the desc has been updated now.....but many of the applications i used this on need to be rewired.....now i know why is was inexpensive. arg. Probably fine indoors, but nothing hear any moisture!!

Good value for excellent primary wire.

The insulation coating is thicker than expected, so for my use adds more weight than I saved using CCA vs. copper. Not bad wire though, good supple feel if that is what you are going for.
