This wire measures .023 which is around 22-24 gauge. 18 gauge should measure .04

This cable was the right size and works great for low amp electrical cables. I use them for LED lighting.

Great product worth every dollar for the amount you get

Purchased this to do a custom wire lining install in my car for a radio double din upgrade. I used the wires to extend certain wires to reach the front. Shield is thick and the wiring is solid as well compared to the cheap stuff they put in some car radio wires. Overall so glad I bought this and I have extra to do any other wiring work.
