Switching from the manufacturer provided 8GB memory kit to this one took me maybe 2 minutes, and suddenly it feels like I have a whole new machine. If RAM is a limiting factor for your gaming/streaming rig, I absolutely would recommend this kit, worth every penny.

I only trust two companies when it comes to memory. Gskill and Crucial. Gskill being my favorite. Used Corsair in the past and had faulty chips. They also screwed me over with the rma. So I stopped using Corsair and went to Gskill. The rest is history. In all my years using Gskill have only had one bad chip which they replaced quick with no issues. This pair is very awesome. Will get another later on.

I needed more ram to speed things up. I bought two sets to get to 64gb and what a difference it made from 16gb. Easy to install and my PC recognized them immediatley.

My set up was 16GB @3200 (2x8GB) and I needed something faster for video editing purposes. So I did a little research and these looked like they would work. To be fair, they did work, no compatibility issue warnings popped up but in practical use, having the 32GB Ripjaws V @3200 (2x16GB) did not increase the speed of the editing. To make sure I was giving these a fair shot I purchased the exact same 2x8GB as my old RAM (T-Force Delta RGB @3200) and installed them for a total of 32GB @3200 (4x8GB) and this sped everything up much faster. I know that some people believe the 4x8 will be faster than 2x16 but with dual channel it should not be a real difference. It could be a compatibility issue with my MOBO (Asrock B450M Pro 4) but there were no indications that would be a problem. I didnt want to give these a bad score in case it was a compatability issue I was not aware of of if for some reason there is that big of a difference between 2x16GB vs 4x8GB, but if there is no such issue then these should get a 1 star because they basically matched the 2x8GB T-Force and were blown out of the water by the 4x8GB set up. I would not look at these if you have the same MOBO as me, go for the T-Force.

Works extremely fast. Faster than the 2666Mhz I had before. Only thing is my hard disk is bottlenecking the RAMs potential. Though thats not at fault of G.skill. Thats my fault.
