> 3 dayI don’t understand how to get it upright. My Guinea pigs love to loaf on top and sometimes crawl inside.

07-06-2025Review is from the perspective of a rat owner. I cant speak for any issues that might arise using this product with more sensitive critters like guinea pigs. The hide is a fabric tunnel with a plastic sheet (thin, see-through) that you slip into the tunnel and against the top portion to keep it propped it open. The plastic sheet ends up basically flush with the fabric. If your critter is a plastic chewer its probably best to keep an eye on this hide to make sure they havent found a way to grab an edge. My rats had no interest in the plastic (probably because it isnt sticking out in any way and is flush with the top). They did, however, completely remove the fringe on one side of the tunnel. I expect this level of remodeling from rats so this isnt the fault of the product. The tunnel is spacious, can hold multiple adult male rats and blankets (fleece scraps) for their nesting comfort. My one boy, Houdini, absolutely adores it. Overall a good product for rats.

> 3 dayMy guinea pigs loved this while it lasted. Unfortunately, after time, they squished it down where it was no longer useable. However, we have 3 guinea pigs and it lasted a decent about of time. It was super easy to clean, simply remove the plastic sheet and toss in the washer. Although it was eventually ruined, i do recommend it!

> 3 dayThis hide is adorable and sturdy! It also is a perfect size for a Guinea pig or other more sizable rodent! I couldn’t tell from the listing that the outside is like a braided pattern plush material, it looked like woven stiffer something but I am pleasantly surprised by this softer texture. The removable mat it great. It is thicker than some others I have tried and I like the backing that helps it slide in and out of the tunnel more easily. If you are an OCD person, it might bother you that the fringe at the back of the tunnel is a bit off centered. Or at least, the one we received is. We just have that bit facing the back of the enclosure and it’s all good. Really a great hide at a decent price. So happy with it.

> 3 dayI have guinea pigs, 3 of them. I got this because I have to many hard huts and not enough soft bedding to hide in. Its a nice product but, the plastic piece that keeps it upright is constantly slipping out slightly and i’m worried the girls will end up hitting it when it’s not covered. Over all its super soft, the girls love it though. They spend most of their time in it. It’s easy to clean hasn’t proved any issue yet. Though each cleaning you have to take the plastic part out and wash that too, at least I do because its constantly tipping onto the side (they all pack into it, no fault of the seller).

> 3 dayOur medium sized piggy absolutely loves his hidy hole. It could easily fit another piggy if he was the sharing kind. Machine washable and stays together nicely.
