I have used this product for years to cover top of homemade jelly. Couldn’t find it at my grocery.

Exactly what my mom needed for sealing the jars on her homemade preserves and pickles.

Product is as described. Appears that it will be suitable for my project just waiting for the rest of the supplies to start.

I ordered this Gulf wax to use when I make jelly if there is a shortage of canning lids again. My granny always used Gulf wax on top of her peach preserves and they were incredible. I looked locally to purchase this wax but couldnt find any. I was happy Amazon carries it because you just never know what the future holds. This is an old school item that still serves a purpose in my pantry. If it was good enough for granny, its good enough for me. :) I hope this was helpful.

Great for fire starters

Needed this for a pinecone dipping project. Apparently I had no concept of one pound of paraffin and should have gotten four more pounds. Was exactly what I needed thought.

I have made two batches of jelly and six more to go. Never used wax before. I love it. I will make festive tops out of cloth and these jars of muscadine jelly will be given as gifts.
