GUND Toothpick, Classic Teddy Bear Stuffed Animal For Ages 1 And Up, Beige, 15”

My daughter is obsessed with this stuffed animal and so am I! 10/10 recommend and 100% agree that it’s worth the money.

First of all, I love him. He did come a little lighter than pictured, as other reviewers said, but its slight, and to be expected with varying dye lots of fabrics over time. I was also worried his fur would be cheap, bc of the way it looks, but also bc of one reviewer who said it pulled out easily, and I am happy to say that was not the case with my bear. He is VERY well made, with a very soft, good quality fur. I even tried to pull out some fur tufts and couldnt even get any fuzz off of him and I was pulling pretty good. I took a comb to him to see if any fur at all would pull out and I didnt even get a single fuz, not one, and I combed his entire body. His stuffing is very firm, esp in the torso and neck areas, since thats what holds up his head, and his bum has a beanbag to help him sit up. He sits up VERY well, and super easy. You can just plop him down on his bum and he stays the first try. His legs are sewn on a tad crooked and one is longer than the other, but I am honestly not convinced it isnt on purpose. His head is also sewn into a slight tilt. Both of these attributes add tremendously to his charm. His name is toothpick for crying out loud and he is not my best friend. I am a grown woman and I am pretending I got this bear for my daughter who is not yet old enough to appreciate a bear, however he is secretly mine.... I dont know if I will give him up when the time comes. I do not know that I can. He is perfectly perfect. Very happy with the purchase. Hopefully he stands up to the inevitable washing eventually, but if not, I can repair him. He seems like he will do fine and is very sturdy.

April 4th of this year (2023), we took in three, approximately five week old kittens with each of their filthy bodies not quite as long as my hand covered in long, huge fleas and horribly infected with URI (upper respiratory infection) with extremely matted, closed off, eyes and noses with the possibility or probability of them losing sight if not eyeballs if they lived, though FIV/FIP negative. They went to the ER Vet that evening and for two days/nights and then home with throughout day and night oral and two different eye meds while seeing our regular vet each week. With them being taken from their feral mother too soon before weaning I bought this GUND Toothpick, Classic Teddy Bear Stuffed Animal to help them with a soft friend in their kennel bed and to hopefully help the female kitten stop sucking her arm / like a human would suck their thumb. That bear has been pounced on, dragged out of the two story kennel around the room and house, fought over, slept on, tugged on and cleaned. The three kittens are now some fourteen weeks old and with a lot of work and much, much prayer (and Ill say it, praise Lord God) no one lost an eyeball nor sight and all are breathing well, thriving, healthy and will be healthy, beautiful adult cats. (And after all that were keeping them as no one but us would take all three together it seems to be. We should probably name them get out of that, stop that and Jesus help me as that is what theyve heard the most of.) And the GUND Toothpick Bear has lasted through all of that and still looks new with not a stag or damage.

I have this in light brown and love it so I decided to gift one of the confetti colored one the my niece for her baby to be. Well made and soft. I just love how cute this bear is.

Little smaller than i imagined- but so soft and super cute! Going to be hard to part with it.

I bought this bear for my mom because she was diagnosed with dementia and I read that stuffed animals and dolls being them comfort. She absolutely loves it and it’s always near her when she sleeps. It is super soft too and super adorable! I think it would be a great first bear for a little kid too!

a gift for my 1st great granddaughter. i felt he was slim enough to get a baby grip on and soft enough to be held for long periods of time, and adorable.
