Because I sew & quilt a lot, Ive used most thread brands sold in the USA. Gutermann is my favorite thread for general sewing and quilting because it is moderately priced, does not create lint, and it is strong. .

I tried some aurifil thinking because of the price I would like it better than gutermann…not so much!! This stuff holds tight!

Gutterman thread is a high quality thread. I ordered White but received Nu White, which has a purple cast to it. Very irritated as I waited a bit for it.
