I’ve had the haakaa since my baby shower but I only registered for the haakaa itself not a lid. I figured I wouldn’t need to store it so I didn’t need a lid but I almost spilled multiple times. This lid allows me to set it on a table and not worry about it getting knocked over or contaminated. I even tested it over the sink to see if it leaked and it didn’t. If you have a haakaa i definitely recommend this! I prefer this over the flower things because I don’t worry about it.

This lid is awesome. Perfect for putting the haakaa straight into the fridge so you can combine it with already refrigerated milk.

I will start by saying that the haakaa is probably the most useful breastfeeding-related item I have bought. It pains me to think how much milk I wasted before I started collecting the let-down of the opposite breast with haakaa while breastfeeding my baby. But, the haakaa, needs a lid. That is of course, if you want to avoid spilling your valuable breastmilk, because it will happen, and often. Trust me, I am not a clumsy person, but these handy devices are nearly invisible and not very steady. The first time I accidentally nocked down a haakaa full of my babys precious dinner, I literally cried over spilled milk, unconsolably. The lid fits perfectly, and you can store the milk in the covered haakaa in the fridge and also warm it up in a bottle warmer.

I absolutely loved using my Haakaa to catch let downs on the opposite breast, but was discouraged to continue use when the Haakaa continuously toppled over, spilling my milk. As you can see, I have the original Haakaa which does not have the suction base. One I bought this cover, spills were a thing of the past! I am now very confident when using my Haakaa knowing that every drop of my liquid gold is secured. This is a must have for those mamas who have cried over spilled milk.
