> 24 hourAn excellent tip for general purpose SMD soldering. I used it extensively in a recent project involving multiple QFP, SOT-23, and 0603 packages. The thin hook shape is also fantastic for doing air wire mods and repairs. Easily hooks around legs, thin traces, etc, while the tiny tip itself is great for heating tiny targets. The odd shape can be a little tricky to clean though, getting stuck on the wiremesh cleaning sponges.

> 24 hourRecently upgraded to the midline hakko station and love it. Ability to hot swap tips means I don’t try to push soldering with the wrong tip, hence a small collection of tips now. Great iras and tips

> 24 hourThis tip works well and is ideal for rework IMHO. One of the few tool additions that makes me smile every time I use this tip.

> 24 hourThis tip is the best tip for component level board repair. THe curve can be used for more surface for larger areas and the tip is small eniugh to reach in and under a flatpack.
