Call me silly but I am a big marvel superheroes fan. Beyond the marvel artwork, this luggage bag also have organising features inside it. Turtle shell design so no outside pockets. But inside, you can compartmentalize your stuff really well. The handle glides smoothly and is quite robust. Lightweight too.

If you look closely at the tags for this, I think it is actually a brand owned by Samsonite, infact: In 1993, American Tourister was acquired by Samsonite, marking the union of the worlds greatest luggage brands Id therefore hope the quality is good. Its actually really quite tall. Having been on an internal UK flight with FlyBe, Im not sure this would have passed as cabin luggage so check with whoever you are flying with first of all. The case itself is a plastic shell decorated with Marvel characters so very bright and easily to spot! Its got a clever zip/locking mechanism that negates the need for a padlock and inside has a zipped area and a main area with strap. Having not been on a flight with this or any hard shell case ever, Im not sure how strong these - will it crack? Who knows?!? Ive tended to go with hardened fabric based cases and they are all fine. Id be very nervous with this but could be proved wrong. Anyway, the kids love this..

Ive just been away for four nights, with lots of travelling on trains and underground, up and down steps and escalators and lots of walking. The case is thinner than a similar hard shell case I have and the perfect size for a few nights away. Because of the four wheels it walks with you and I balanced my other bag on the top, so much easier than dragging and tripping people up. The case is theoretically one you can use as cabin luggage though I never take anything so large on myself! I love the design, I saw people looking at it, and it will never be lost among all the drab cases on a carousel. A quick wipe with some cream cleanser removed a few scuff marks on returning home. One design fault in my opinion - Im not very strong and there is a marked absence of a handle on the side which helps so much in lifting a case in and out of cars and up onto luggage racks. Pity.
