My daughter is 5. She use it for her addition problems. She will do the first number in yellow then the next one in red then count it all together 6(yellow)+5(red)=11(counted). For some reason she wasnt getting the math, this works for her.

Perfect and quiet for any classroom. I used these on my kindergarten class. They were respectful in the use of them. They are a learning tool, not toys.
