For two years I have used the earlier 2600 mAh fan which has been excellent for cooling hot flushes and for holidaying abroad (when we were able). Sadly the battery has started to take less of a charge hence my decision to pay a little more and replace it with this 4000 mAh fan. Unfortunately this fan is less powerful, the highest, 3rd setting blows the same as the older version on the 2nd setting. Looking at the ratings on the reverse of my older first model the output power is 4w, on this newer model output power is 2.7w. I’m not an electrician but this does suggest that part of the extended length of running time could be due to a lower output. I can’t recommend this model, for me it is inferior to the cheaper 2600mAh and a waste of money.
