    Thick metal and strong hardware.

Super strong and fairly easy to install. I did have to shave down the beam a bit to fit but I’d rather have a tight fit than have any movement. We used for a new swing set I made with a 12’ 4x6 beam and 4- 8’ 4x4 posts.

Very solid welds and design. When you buy your beam and 4x4s make sure the wood is not wet from treatment. Bring one into the store to be doubly sure. Beams may look dry but the true test will be if they slide into the Brackets.

Very heavy duty, just be careful the lag bolts can break if you try to back them out.

I assume it’s just my bad luck. The brackets themselves seem sturdy and (loosely ) fit the 4x6 beam and 4x4 posts I bought. However, that’s pointless since the advertised hardware was not included making them handy paper weights until I get to the hardware store.

I bought two of these sets to build frames for 2-3 person bench swings. They are made with high gauge steel with good weldments. I used Lowes 4x6 for beam and 4x4 for legs. Two of the brackets needing some mallet hammering to fit on the beam. The 4x4s slid on easily. It is a 2-person job to put together given its size. I expect they will last for many years. I would buy again.

Bracket was perfect, had to shave the 4x6 wood as others mentioned. (Very) Annoying but manageable. The lag bolts are inadequate for hot/ humid weather. Purchased stainless and galvanized (stainless for swings to attach to swivels and galvanized for the bracket here) plus new washers. Brackets themselves are excellent quality. The 4x4 “legs” fit just fine. Used hammer drill with socket attachment.
