> 24 hourIm in love with these. I bought one a while ago to hang a planter in a bedroom, from the ceiling. I was dreading putting it on because its always such a hassle to screw things into walls. I was very pleased and shocked at how easy these are to install. You just need your screw driver, and the anchors slide in without any issues. Once the screw goes in, you can tell it holds a good amount of weight. The hook just snaps easily into the screw. I was so pleased, I ended up buying two more for other rooms. And they look great too! They spin around easily in case you need to rotate the plant. No hassle at all. If this review was helpful in any way please click on ‘helpful’ so I know. Feel free to ask any questions!

> 24 hourI really like these hooks. easy to install, very strong and clean looking. Theyve been holding my fairly large spider plants for a few years now, so I purchased more to replace my other hanging plants.

> 24 hourReally like this swivel hook, and it looks very nice, however, it lacks instructions, no hardware options like a molly bolt, nor extra hardware in case you screw up (which I did). You need to do it right the first time!! So following some comments, it is necessary to predrill a hole smaller than the enclosed plastic anchor. This instal requires 2 sizes of phillips screwdrivers. Once the hole is drilled use your hand to insert plastic expanding anchor. Use a LARGE head phillips to care fully screw in the anchor UNTIL IT IS FLUSH WITH CEILING. I used a small head and ended up stripping it out. Luckily I keep hardware from other kits and had five anchors almost indenticle! 2nd attempt was successful. Now hand screw the metal bolt into the plastic anchor to keep it from falling out and then use small phillips head, make sure it is all the way screwed in flush to anchor. The final step is opening hook base and inserting metal screw in slot and then closing hook. There is no way of tightening hook once installed and it rides a little looser than I prefer but I can live with it. I also restarted the whole install as I didnt like the original spot I chose so consider that as well before you start drilling and save a small sparkle job at the very end! Hope this review/ install tips are helpful.

> 24 hourThis Elephant Hook Ceiling Hanger is very sturdy and bigger than I anticipated even after reading the size/dimensions in the product description prior to buying. But, that is actually one of the things that I have appreciated about it. I had purchased this to hang a patio tealight chandelier, except I hung it indoors in preparation for our daughters Sweet Sixteen some while back, which weve opted to leave up for a while longer to continue to enjoy it. We use LED tealights in the chandelier, so that means frequently needing to reach up there and manually turn them on, which means we are putting some stress on the chandelier itself. Because this hook swivels, that helps to make this task much easier. We were fortunate enough to have a stud right where we wanted to place this (12-15 lb) chandelier, so my husband decided it would be quite sturdy enough with the screw only and without the included plastic anchor. In addition to the metal chandelier, we have tulle and artificial vines running through the hook, and have had no problems with its stability or strength. I chose the white hanger because our ceiling is white, and I didnt want the hook itself to stand out. This hanger is very sturdy and one that I would not hesitate to buy again if I ever need to hang anything of any substantial weight from the ceiling again.

> 24 hourI used these to hang plants. These are really great once installed but were not so easy for me to install. I installed in drywall and struggled getting the anchor in. I first tried screwing it in using a phillips tip but it just stripped the inside of the anchor. It also hurts to grab and twist the anchor because the edges are fairly sharp so that didn’t work either. My solution was to start by drilling a small hole in the ceiling then use a non-slip rubber pad to grip the anchor and twist in as much as possible. I then used pliers to screw it in the rest of the way and finally drilled in the screw.
