> 3 dayThe pour over is easy to use, just takes a little time waiting for the coffee to drip down so you can pour in more water but the filter keeps the grounds from going into the coffee unlike my french press.

> 3 dayI use regular grind coffee. My favorite brew is French press, but reports are not as favorable regarding healthiness, so switched to pour over with a kettle that has a temperature gauge. I might be hard pressed to tell the difference in taste in a blindfold test, though French press generally has more body. I think the body contains the not-so-good-for-you ingredients. It is hard to main temperature for 2nd cup, though I use a tea cozy. Also, would love to find a 6-cup version to use when company arrives.

> 3 dayAmazing set. Everything that you need to make a great pour over cup (besides a kettle). Wasn’t sure how big or small these guys would be, but they are decent. Good for a few cups, not a set for groups of people unless you want to be doing batches back to back. Hopefully the pics I put up will help those also looking to compare sizes

> 3 dayThis is the best coffee brewing hardware I’ve used. Better than multiple French presses I’ve owned over the year. Better than the perforated steel pour over I used for the past few years. The coffee is super flavorful and there’s almost zero cleanup! Very happy with this purchase.

> 3 dayLearning pour overs is a journey. You start out thinking that hard core coffee people are just fanatics and how could these products really make a difference. Well, I’ve learned the various coffee products do make a difference. I started with a Cuisinart grinder and then upgraded to a Fellow grinder (8x the price), and definitely could taste the difference. And in the case of the V60, I started with a Bodum dripper, and I find the V60 much better in taste (near 2x the cost), and I think that has to do with the V60 filter being a cone and funneling the water better through the grinds (and likely other aspects as well). I did notice that the V60 coffee was not as hot, which is because I didn’t preheat the ceramic. BTW, I thought that was another coffee fanatic issue, but yea it’s a thing. The made in Japan quality of this dripper kit is very nice. The glass lid fits the decanter perfect and seems like it will be durable over time. The decanter and lid are esthetically pleasing. The ceramic V60 is also beautiful and well made. It’s great that it came with plenty of filters. Be sure to watch the numerous YouTube videos instructing V60 usage. Making pour over coffee is an art form and fun if you have the interest and the time. Also, you will need a digital scale and pour over kettle to do this in a consistent manner of making coffee.

> 3 dayI use this every morning and I love it! The filters are especially a great addition. The ceramic v60 is amazing to use compared to a cheap plastic cone I used for almost a year. Great gift for that new coffee enthusiast you’re thinking of buying a gift.

> 3 dayThis is a good kit I purchased after falling in love with blue bottle coffee and their hand dripped selections, OMG... This kit was a perfect starter kit. I just purchased a nice burr grinder, some extra filters in advance, and a kitchen scale to weigh my coffee beans and water for the perfect cup. Oh I also recommend you purchase a nice glass mug to enjoy all of the goodness again and again. For some reason I swear coffee tastes better in glass than any metal mug or thermos from my experience.

> 3 dayFirst time pour over coffee user here. The sun does exactly what you needed to do. I may consider unbleached filters next time but otherwise a solid starter set.
