Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 4 Wireless Bluetooth Speaker Black (New Model, 100

> 24 hourI tried five different bluetooth speakers in the $100-$160 price range and this speaker won me over hands down! I was looking to replace a $195 Bose Soundlink Revolve that wore out after only 3 years, and I would say that the Onyx Studio 4 has as much bass or more that the Bose. The mid-range and treble the Onyx produces is clear and powerful. I am hearing more sound in the upper ranges than I ever heard with the Bose. The Onyx Studio 4 is more than enough speaker for a 300sf room. Pairing was easy with my iPhone and I even love the sound the Onyx makes when it powers on and off.

> 24 hourI have never paid so much for a speaker, but heard this one at a friends and could not resist the fantastic sound. I have used it always plugged in and pair it with my Mac every day for great sound while listening to music or watching TV. However, the Bluetooth feature failed after 2 years and a few months of light use, always in one spot. I called the company and a rep talked me through the normal fixes, none of which worked. All other Bluetooth products I own worked fine from the laptop. Because it was out of the one-year warranty, they would not fix it or offer a replacement. They gave me a 30% off coupon, but the price was $200, and I dont think anyone should have to pay that much for a speaker every two years for an unfixable problem. I can still use it if I plug the speaker into the laptop, but obviously that reduces the flexibility of the product. Further, if they anticipate the Bluetooth feature failing, they should at least provide an AUX cord to attach it to your laptop or phone, but they dont. I dont think I will ever buy another one.

> 24 hourI love this thing. My inlaws have had one for about 4 years. Their battery is shot from leaving it on charge at all times but the sound is still good by the pool! I got one for my covered back porch and it is pretty decent. I unplug mine unless it needs a charge and hope the battery holds up for me. I recommend. I do wish I would have gotten 2 of the updated models so they can play in tandem. That would be awesome for outdoor entertaining!!! Do that! Haha Edit: the sound lowers when you take it off charge. It dies right away if you unplug it. I want to love this thing but I wish I would have went a different route. Id like it to be louder and more bass. Its very decent for sure. I almost ordered a second unit 3 or 4 times but I think I need a wired unit with multiple speakers. It just isnt loud enough. Decent speaker for rv camping or small spaces.

> 24 hourThere are wireless Bluetooth speakers that cost several times the price of this and the Onyx 4 beats the tar out of them. I have two of these now. I first was introduced to them while sitting in a breakfast place in Portland and though someone was playing acoustic guitar behind me, I kept turning around and no one was there. The third time I saw this weird thing sitting on a reach-in cooler. I used my phone to look it up and bought it. Never looked back. I have them in both of the major rooms in my house, transmitting computer audio, podcasts, guitar practice tracks. The sound is amazing, full-range with smooth base. Its hard to believe how great these sound given their size.

> 24 hourI really love the Harmon kardon speakers. It’s is so relaxing to listen music at anytime, just taking it everywhere and anywhere I need it. The product is so great I purchased four of the speakers, one each for my 3 daughters as Mothers Day gifts. And the price was so much cheaper than Best Buy stores.

> 24 hourThere is no question, this product beats the socks off the bluetooth speaker competition. I mostly use it with the TV (bluetooth) in my office, and the bass response is phenomenal. I certainly know of no other bluetooth speaker in this price/size range that would deliver same. Now, I am getting greedy for more bass, and for stereo, and so I am gearing up to buy a 2nd one, just so I can have the stereo effect / extra bass promised. At these prices, it would be crazy not to. This competes with much more expensive equipment, and has the added advantages of bluetooth, price, and portability. And I can always unplug one (or both) and take it on the road. Im a fan.

> 24 hourI bought it to stereo pairing two studio 4. The sound quality of studio 4 is better balanced than studio 6. However, with the AUX connection, the beginning of the song is cut every time it changes to the next song. which has been improved in studio 6.
