> 3 dayGreat sound quality, great classy look and for a great price! However, the battery life is mediocre at best. I bought this to use at my kids bday party in our backyard and it only lasted about 2 hours on a full charge. Would recommend this if you are primarily keeping it plugged in but look elsewhere if you are looking for a true wireless outdoor speaker.

> 3 dayLove the speaker, however, after less than 2 yrs the battery only last an hour or less. With that said, I did contact Harmon/Kardon Customer Service and they offered a 30% discount on the newest model Onyx 6 at 30% off the sale price $279, normally $479. Im not an opportunist, so I asked for trouble shooting tips, they were kind enough to suggest the following to reset my existing Onyx 4: Turn Speaker ON, without the charging cord. Press & Hold both Phone + and Volume buttons until speaker turns OFF. Then Charge Speaker for min 8-24hrs to RESET speaker and assess performance. Hoping this is a resolve to the issue, would rather continue using my existing speakers than replace. # savetheplanet LOL!

> 3 dayIt just doesnt get better than this unit. Cannot wait to buy and pair the 2nd one simultaneously. Well done, HK. Oh, PS, dont listen to the whiners that say the sound dips when its cordless. Simply not true and i challenge anyone to hear a difference. Update to my previous post... I gave my myself a bday present 3 months in advance and bought the 2nd one so i could pair two of these studio 4 HK Onyx. The sound is better than my megawatt yamaha receiver w/ B&W three foot tall speakers. I am not joking. It is more concentrated, clear, and better on the highs. You will not find a better bluetooth speaker set up for under 300 bucks. For perspective, my friend has the B&W zeppelin that he (over) paid $600 for and its not portable. The sound is not as good as a pair of these Onyx 4s. Whats better, you can scale down if you dont need the double pairing. When i work in my office, i dont need two of these blasting my ear off while i work. However, I was painting my condo and let them both rip. A lot of fun to own.
