Greater than one weekThis is the only sound option you need for your home. It can fill up any space you have and the sound quality is amazing. Regarding bass, it can handle most ranges and genres well...but, deep 808 bass tones (very low frequency) wont come thru strongly. But thats not unusual for +90% of home speakers.

> 3 dayThis thing is fantastic and the price is ridiculously reasonable. I’m a Bose fanatic. I have 4 pairs of high end Bose headphones, two portable Bose speakers, Bose home theatre system, and Bose stereo in my car. I appreciate crisp, clear audio with sufficient bass that does not distort with elevated volume. I started using Echo devices as a network for whole-home audio - which works great by the way, as long as your willing to put an echo device in every room right next to the larger speaker since they do have to be plugged in using an aux cable in order to sync the playback - but the Bose portable speaker we were using in our bedroom was never quite in sync with all the other speakers. There was a slight delay from it which I attribute to a hardware issue with the speaker. Bought this to replace it on a whim since it was so cheap (especially compared with the $400 Bose speaker it would be potentially be taking the place of). So glad I gave it a chance. It is not quite as crisp as the Bose speakers, but it has good depth with plenty of midrange and more than enough bass to fill a bedroom with as much sound as you can take with zero distortion. ALSO - there is no lag from aux and the Bluetooth connection is seemless.

> 3 dayI previously had a Studio 3 speaker, heard it playing in the Sprint store and was blown away, I had never heard a small bluetooth speaker so clear and full with a nice bit of bass to back it up. I had that speaker for about 6 years, had it playing at work all day long on top of my tool box in a shop environment, toted it home to use wherever I was working around the house. I estimated by the amount of hours it played at work every day during a normal work week, not counting all the time it played here at home, well over 10,000 hours of play time, before one of the woofers finally failed. The battery life was never impressive but it pretty much always stayed plugged in where I was using it, as it was directly stated its more of a static speaker, it was never touted as a long play battery power bluetooth speaker. I know of almost a dozen people who have bought one after hearing mine at work and were blown away with the sound quality, and they all love theirs as well. So, naturally, when mine finally wore out, I replaced it with an Onyx 4. About the only thing different between the two, is the power up sound, and the passive radiator button color on the back. Otherwise they look identical. And my Onyx 4 sounds exactly like my Onyx 3. The added bonus is that with this new speaker, the battery life is good. There have been a few days Ive set it on top of my box at 7AM and forgot to plug it in, and it was still playing when I went to put it back in my cabinet at the end of the day. For the price, this thing is amazing. Im sure there are louder, harder hitting bass speakers out there, but not in this price range.

> 3 dayLOVE LOVE LOVE this wireless Bluetooth portable speaker. The sound is much clearer and more powerful than the 3 others I tried, including the Bose Soundlink Revolve Plus which sells for $250+. Regarding the term portable - this speaker is larger and heavier than most portable speakers on the market, and I do NOT use it outside. For my needs, which is to have great-sounding music in any room, within the confines of my apartment, it is perfect. While it is not multi-directional sound, like the Bose Soundlink Revolve+, the sound quality is so superior, it renders that feature unimportant. For now, I have one of the HK Onyx Studio 4 wireless speakers, but I plan to buy another one, and two will link together to give true stereo sound. Still, even with just one, it is fantastic. The only small criticism I have is the way the volume buttons are difficult to locate/see. It requires good light and/or feeling around for them on the top of the speaker to find them. My fix: I set the speakers volume up to the highest level, and then use my iPhone (or my laptop, if Im paired to that) to control the volume - which works very well.

> 3 dayI have never paid so much for a speaker, but heard this one at a friends and could not resist the fantastic sound. I have used it always plugged in and pair it with my Mac every day for great sound while listening to music or watching TV. However, the Bluetooth feature failed after 2 years and a few months of light use, always in one spot. I called the company and a rep talked me through the normal fixes, none of which worked. All other Bluetooth products I own worked fine from the laptop. Because it was out of the one-year warranty, they would not fix it or offer a replacement. They gave me a 30% off coupon, but the price was $200, and I dont think anyone should have to pay that much for a speaker every two years for an unfixable problem. I can still use it if I plug the speaker into the laptop, but obviously that reduces the flexibility of the product. Further, if they anticipate the Bluetooth feature failing, they should at least provide an AUX cord to attach it to your laptop or phone, but they dont. I dont think I will ever buy another one.

> 3 dayThis actually is an early Christmas present for my husband, so it’s wrapped and we haven’t used it yet. It’s identical to one that we used at someone else’s house while they were gone. I was so impressed with the quality, that I ordered one right away to avoid availability problems closer to Christmas. I’m sure he will love it!

Greater than one weekFirst, its a Harman Kardon so its quality right out of the box. For the price, its almost unbeatable. Only downside I can think of is it not being made to take outdoors, at least Im not comfortable taking it out, but having not paid an outrageous price for it, I got a speaker to fill that gap. The sound is amazing and crisp. The bass is deep and rich. From parties to daily use, youll be blown away by the quality and even your skeptical significant other will quickly agree its the best speaker you own. Ive even connected it to my laptop as a speaker for gaming (great decision). Price and quality meet here, youd be a fool to walk away.

Greater than one weekLet me start by saying, I am not an audiophile by any stretch. I wanted a speaker that could get loud in a medium sized room. This speaker does that. What I didnt expect was how much I apparently care about the quality of the sound. With this speaker, the sound is not muffled and it doesnt break up at loud volume but it just doesnt sound high quality. I very much doubt this item is counterfeit but the sound quality is what I would expect from a medium sized no name made in China speaker. I will keep it, but I feel like at $130 I paid full price. There is no possible way this is a speaker someone would pay $200 on up for and be happy. As far as the function of the speaker, it works fine. No connection issues. Long bt range. You can adjust the bass by holding volume down and Bluetooth bottons but it doesnt help. The phone volume is controlled by the speaker when using Bluetooth. So you cant be in a situation where your phone volume is down causing poor sound. I havent seen that mentioned so I am mentioning it here. I think I should have either shelled out the $300 for the Awia or gotten a $200 Bose. I would recommend this speaker at about $60. Certainly not $130. I am very suspicious of all the positive reviews, videos and otherwise. I do not suspect my unit is defective.
